ALL SUNSCREEN INGREDIENTS TOXIC to HUMANS and MARINE LIFE
I wanted a sunscreen that would protect me from harmful UVA & UBV rays so I purchased the maximum SPF 60 product online; however, I was careless and didn't review the ingredient list until I received the order. Upon seeing the list of ingredients I realized these were sunscreen chemicals that I had never used before so decided to look into each one prior to using the product. Well to my surprise I learned that all the ingredients in this sunscreen are toxic. Immediately returned the product. I apologize ahead of time for the lengthy review, but thought I should share it this valuable information with the ULTA community. AVOBENZONE. Effective against UVA and UBV rays, but this doesn't mean it's harmless. Studies have shown that it can degrade in sunlight, leading to a loss in its UV-protective capacity. This degradation also results in the formation of harmful byproducts that can be detrimental to skin health, causing issues like skin irritation and allergies.There is an additional cause for concern: endocrine disruption. Some studies suggest avobenzone, like many other chemical sunscreens, may act as an endocrine disruptor. This means it can interfere with your body's hormonal system, potentially leading to various health problems ranging from reproductive issues to metabolic disorders and even certain types of cancers. HOMOSALATE: Is a potential endocrine disruptor and may have other health concerns. While it's generally considered safe for use in face products up to a certain concentration, some studies suggest it could negatively impact hormones and may not be suitable for everyone, according to a scientific advice. OCTISALATE: While generally considered safe, has raised some concerns about potential environmental toxins and allergic reactions, not as high a concern as some other sunscreen ingredients, it can still cause skin sensitivity or allergic reactions in some individuals. OCTOCRYLENE: While generally considered safe at concentrations used in sunscreen it has raised concerns regarding its potential for endocrine disruption and degradation into a potentially harmful chemical, benzophenone. These sunscreen chemicals also impact the environment and can harm coral reefs, they damage coral DNA, stunt growth, and increase susceptibility to bleaching

I looked like I was cosplaying ashy
My dark skin babes, unless you wanna look ashy I really won't recommend this. Maybe it's supposed to blend or magically absorbed within a few minutes or something, but I look white. I was trying to gaslight myself a little bit, but my sister screamed when she saw my face saying girl you you're going out like that?? Yea that was all I needed. BUT I would say it's very lightweight and blend well on the skin. It just leaves a TERRIBLE whitecast. For my Caucasian/light skin babes you may like this.

I've used the UK bersion of this sunscreen and its amazing. But this US version is awful. Smells so strongly of alchol and pilled my other skincare
