Is it okay for straight hair? The short answer is yes, but use it with caution. This formula is our most intense hydration level, specifically engineered for the unique needs of severely dry curly and coily hair (patterns 3A–4C). Because curly hair is naturally more porous and struggles to move natural oils from the scalp to the ends, this conditioner is much "heavier" than a standard moisturizing conditioner. What you might experience on straight hair: Maximum Moisture: If your hair is extremely parched, brittle, or chemically treated, this will provide an incredible surge of hydration and softness. Potential Weight: Because straight hair doesn't require as much heavy oil to stay hydrated as curls do, this formula may weigh your hair down. You might find that your hair loses its volume or feels a bit "coated" or greasy more quickly than usual. Intense Smoothness: It will definitely eliminate frizz and flyaways, giving you a very sleek look.
