Never thought I'd be a fan of a brush like this, but WOW!

I received this free in exchange for my honest review. I really like It Cosmetics CC Cream. It is creamy so feels hydrating on my dry skin with great coverage while looking nice on the skin, and wears well on my dry skin - I don't need to set it at all. It sets on its own, and with setting and fixin...g spray it lasts all day without coverage fading or starting to look bad on my skin. So, I already knew I loved the foundation, but I never tried it with a brush like the Airbrush #117 Spatula Brush, so I was excited to try a foundation I love with a type of brush I'd never tried before. Normally, I'd use by StansOut sponge or my It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush #7 to apply the foundation. But, of course, this time I wanted to try the new It Cosmetics for Ulta Airbrush #117 Spatula Brush. The brush is nice quality, but I wouldn't say it's the same as standard It Cosmetics brushes (I have a few of them and love them), but this is an It Cosmetics for Ulta Brush, so it's made specifically for Ulta and going to be more affordable than a regular It Cosmetics brush. Its not bad or low quality. It has a nice lightweight handle, the ferrule is attached firmly, the bristles are cut evenly and soft. It's just not quite as nice as a standard It Cosmetics brush. If you've tried It Brushes and It for Ulta brushes, then you probably know what I mean. It's nicer than a basic drugstore brush, and it feels and looks well made, works really well and I'll continue using it and repurchase it if I ever lose it, but I feel it's just not quite as nice as standard It Cosmetics brushes. Hopefully that makes sense. It says this brush provides quick and easy application for a natural skin-like complexion and is best for sheer to medium coverage. For use, it says to pump foundation onto the back of your hand - coat the brush edge and apply with sweeping motions for an even coverage on just a few swipes. So that's exactly what I did. I was really surprised how quick and easy it was to apply the foundation with this brush. I expected to have streaks from it. But it didn't. I didn't have to go over it with a sponge or anything! It gave nice, even lightweight application. Using the It Cosmetics CC Cream with it, I got medium coverage from 1 pump. It looks so thin and natural on the skin. Like nothing at all. It feels like nothing on the skin. If there were areas I wanted a little more coverage, I'd take a little more foundation onto the edge of the brush and then just kind of dab it over the area and that worked well too! I was a little worried how well this would work getting around areas like my nose, but it actually worked well! I had to figure out the best way to angle it, but once I did, it worked great! I've always been a fan of the It Cosmetics CC foundation, but using it with this brush made me an even bigger fan! I get great coverage while having it look so thin and natural on the skin! Before, with my usual sponge/brush application, it looked good on, but I wouldn't call it skin-like. It didn't look thick or heavy, but didn't look extremely natural either. The #117 brush applies this so thin while still maintaining good coverage and it looks and feels so lightweight and natural on! If you're a fan of It Cosmetics CC Foundation, I'd definitely recommend trying the brush with it! If you haven't tried the It Cosmetics CC Foundation before because you heard it was a thicker foundation with a lot of coverage, then I'd recommend trying it out with the #117 brush! I've also tried this out with a few of my other favorite foundations, and it worked just as well with all of them! I never thought I'd enjoy a brush like this but I'm loving it!
