Not the best I've tried
I gave this a try. I use retinol on a daily basis but this dried me out completely and made my skin look worse. I tried using it only every 3 days and moisturized the same as normal.
Not a fan
I was looking to switch up the retinol in my skincare and this one did absolutely ✨nothing✨ for me. Cera Ve resurfacing retinol i will never betray you again. (I have dry skin with hormonal acne)
finally a retiol that works
finally a retinol cream that works. I have been using retinol for a few years now but this is the best one. It doesn't peel my skin or anything but really smoothed out my skin. I use it 2-3 times a night and it does the job.
One of the best I've tried
Of the many OTC retinols ive tried over the years, this one takes the cake. I love the gel texture and saw results after only a few weeks. I get the most compliments on my skin when using this consistently. Plus i cant beat the price point!! Im a fan for life, cocokind please never stop making this!
Packs a good punch!
This product did not end up working for me, which is completely my fault. I tend to be sensitive to retinols but recently have been tolerating a 3% retinol serum just fine, so I reached for this advanced 5% as a step up. I used it for about three weeks, at first I had severe burning and irritation. Then, I worked my way up to every other day with limited irritation, but I still had very faint, pesky, red patches. Upon looking into this product further I discovered it contains Retinal, Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate and Lactic acid. Going from a regular retinol to a retinal, retinol and lactic acid was a bigger jump than I bargained for and looking back I should have opted for their beginner product at 2% as retinal being included makes it much stronger. I did however, notice the tightening effect starting and my skill cell turnover rate immediately speed up. Awesome over the counter strength and results in under 3 weeks, just too strong for me!!
