Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique. Divide damp hair into sections. Rake a nickel-size amount of gel through each section, using fingertips to seal and smooth the cuticle from roots to ends. When finished, hold the ends of hair in each section and shake to create curls. Let hair air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The packaging of this product makes it very easy to dispense. I like to squeeze a decent size amount to my palm, rub my hands together and disperse throughout my hair. It's not as sticky as I thought it would be. It does have a nice hold to it though. I applied, let it air dry, and in checking on my hair about 5 hours later, I noticed my curls looked intact and had a nice shine to them!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This gel makes my hair look and feel so soft while keeping curls defined and frizz controlled. While it does feel sticky and greasy in my hands, it dries silky smooth in my hair for a natural, soft curl. It is a really good price for the quality of the product. The only thing I don't love about it is the smell—it smelled a bit strongly of chemicals to me in application but dried it is much more mild and pleasant. I air dry my hair and loved the result.

However it is does have a very hard cast that will need to be scrunched out if wanting a softer result. I did find it also leaves behind a white cast which can be frustrating and resulted in having to wash it out. May be better suited for slick backs.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I thought this product was okay, I have mostly wavy hair with a few random curly strands. I used it after the shower and my hair was still frizzy afterwards. It could be worse, but I wasn't necessarily stoked over the results; especially for the price but maybe it might work better for other hair types.
