Help clear and prevent acne with PanOxyl Acne Gel Wash for Face with Salicylic Acid. This gentle gel-to-foam formula contains 2% Salicylic Acid, which deeply cleans pores, clearing dirt and oil, which helps to reduce and control acne.

Wet face and work product into a lather. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer in the morning and at night. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day other day.
Precautions: For external use only. When using this product, skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical acne medication at the same time. If irritation occurs, only use one topical acne medication at a time. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

The application of the product is good it is not oily it feels nice. I use it everyday and night. It doesn't make my skin feel tight after I use it which is a good thing

I'll be writing this review with the consideration that my skin is very sensitive to salicylic acid so I am unfortunately not the target audience for this particular product! Here are some additional disclaimers: I do not have acne-prone skin, my breakouts are quite rare and I lean more sensitive with a combination/dehydrated skin type. That said, this product, while less than ideal on my face due to the fact that it left it quite red and sensitive afterwards, it worked fantastic on my body! I targeted some of my chest acne with this cleanser — first using a bar soap and then this cleanser — and it did not irritate my chest the way it did my face at all. I noticed a reduction in breakouts along my chest in a two week period when using this product. I would not use this if you're experiencing fungal body acne but for other types of breakouts, this worked quite well! Again, I think my face skin is too sensitive for the concentration of this cleanser but for someone who can handle salicylic acid, it might fit much better in your routine than mine!

I love this facial cleanser. I usually get really bad acne around my mouth and chin right before and during my period. I had one zit that was coming up, but using this product at least once a day, sometimes twice a day, and it never fully formed. My breakout was stopped. I absolutely love it, highly recommend.

This cleansing gel works great to control oily skin too. My pores visibly shrunk within days of use, any potential blemishes did dry out and dissolve. Very easy to use and rinse, leaves no film. Only downside is it can dry out skin if you dont have oily skin. Id say start once a day then work to 2x as needed. This is great with the right moisturizer and toner.
