Apply a quarter-sized amount to wet hair, lather and rinse. Increase amount based on hair type. Follow with Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner and Acidic Bonding Leave-In-Treatment.

Is it normal to feel slight sensitivity on scalp after use, its almost a tingling sensation and im sure if uta due to the AHA and will subside or if best to return.

This is typically due to the Citric Acid (an Alpha Hydroxy Acid/AHA) in our Bonding Care Complex. Here is what you should know: pH Balancing: The shampoo is intentionally formulated with an acidic pH to help rebalance the hair and scalp after the alkaline stress of color services or lightning. This active rebalancing can sometimes be felt as a mild tingle, especially if your scalp is slightly dry or sensitized. AHA Action: AHAs like Citric Acid are excellent for sealing the hair cuticle, but because they are active ingredients, those with highly sensitive skin may notice them more than others. Should you keep it or return it? If it's a mild, temporary tingle: This usually subsides as your scalp adjusts to the pH-balanced formula and as you rinse the product away.
