Apply a quarter-sized amount to wet hair, lather and rinse. Increase amount based on hair type. Follow with Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner and Acidic Bonding Leave-In-Treatment.

Wanted to love this product
I really wanted to love this line of products because it had decent reviews and smelled so good. I had bought the shampoo, conditioner, and leave in treatment from the acidic bonding line and it did not do as it claims to do. After one use, I developed a rash on my face, ears, and scalp. It also dried my hair to a crisp. I do have blonde highlights and my hair is decently healthy but this product did a number on it. This shampoo + conditioner made my hair super frizzy, crunchy, and it would snap off in clumps when gently brushing it. Hopefully this works better for someone else!

Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo and Conditioner are wonderful products. Occasionally, I will alternate a turn of Olaplex Bonding Duo, but this is my favorite duo for keeping my hair healthy and strong. The citrus-y scent is pleasant, too. I do wish this product was included in sales; it is always excluded, even when all other Redken products are not excluded. I purchase the jumbo size and use Ulta pumps. I would say that I go through 2-3 jumbo bottles per year.
Changed my hair texture and created more breakage

I decided to try this shampoo/conditioner after a couple years of using the Redken All Soft curls line, I heard all the hype and thought it would fix my few split ends. I was getting haircuts every 2-3 months and my hair never looks healthier. First impression was great, loved the smell. But after using an entire 33 oz bottle of both my hair texture has completely changed. I have fine 2c waves, mid back length, always use a leave in conditioner, heat protectant and hair oil time to time, my shampoo/conditioner was the only thing that change. My hair feels rough, wirey and has more breakage than ever. I only wash my hair about every 2-3 days so I don't think I was over using, and I maybe use heat on my hair 1-2x/week, low heat on the blow dryer and under 300 degrees for heat tools. Immediately after my haircut I wouldn't see really any splits and come 2-3 weeks post hair cut they were popping up everywhere. Wish I would've stopped using sooner, but this product is expensive and I didn't' want to waste. Will be switching back over to the all soft line. Do not recommend.
