Twist capsule open. Dispense directly into palm. Using fingertips, smooth lightly over skin in the evening. Follow with a moisturizer or other antiaging treatment, if desired. Use once daily as tolerated. For sensitive skin, use 2-3 times per week, then increase use as tolerated, up to once daily.

I suffer from Hyperpigmentation and was told from a worker at Ulta to use the Vitamin C capsules at night after I cleanse, followed by the exuviance glycolic perfecting moisturizer. Will that combo dry my skin out? Also should I be doing this daily?

Instead of the Glycolic Perfecting Moisturizer, we would suggest Overnight Transformation Complex if you are concerned about skin getting dried out. I love the Exuviance products, and I had high hopes for the Vitamin C capsules, but my skin is simply too sensitive for these. I had only been applying them every other night to start, then moved to every three days, and in the end, decided to return them, as they were simply too irritating to my skin. It had some grit in the feel at application. The dryness in to skin could not be tolerated. I am typically not at all sensitive, so the ongoing sensitivity, even after weeks of trying different things, ultimately made me decide to return it. I have so many of their other products that I love, this particular one, was just not for me.

The vitamin c capsules work as advertised but they were difficult to work into my skin care routine. After I put it on it was almost a waste to try to put any other product on my face because the vitamin c capsule was so thick it blanketed my face from allowing any other products from getting through.

I hate that if I'm not super thoughtful about how i spread the serum it pills. That's why I took a star off. You really can't have on anything under this. Let your toner fully dry and skip the hydrators. That being said it works. It will even your skin tone and brighten dark spots. Because of silicone base i like to layer the retinol concentrate on top which works wonderfully together. I already purchased a second bottle of both. This has become my favorite all time skincare brand. It feels luxurious and it is effective.
