Works great for seasonal Winter-related dandruff!!

Hair Type Straight Hair

Works great for seasonal Winter-related dandruff!! Even works well on my bleached/colored-treated hair type. I have long blonde hair that is thick in volume and straight in texture type. It's non-damaging. I do use this 2-in-1 with the same company's conditioner after for extra hydration and both together do NOT leave my hair greasy or over processed feeling. Sleak after feel and look. Love this product! It has cut down my flaky scalp in half, in just 4 weeks time, due to the colder weather this Wintertime affecting my scalp. Definitely a recommend. For the price too, one cannot go wrong!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

URGENT - DO NOT BUY

For the love of God, do not buy this or the pairing conditioner. I switched to CeraVe shampoo and conditioner because I have really oily hair, which causes a lot of buildup and sometimes even painful acne or sore bumps on my scalp. I've tried so many products, but this was the only one that seemed to actually work by keeping my scalp healthy and my hair looking clean and oil-free all day. BUT after 6-8 weeks of regular use, I noticed an ungodly amount of hair falling out, especially in the shower. Like when I'd rinse out the conditioner, I end up with a whole wad of loose hair in my hands. I have to clean the drain once, if not twice, every shower -- and that's not to mention the globs of hair stuck to the walls! I've always had thick hair, so when I had to give my hair tie an extra twist just to keep it from slipping, I FREAKED out. I went to Reddit and found a bunch of other users having the *same* reaction. I don't know how this is still on the shelves.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I used it for twice a week and it doesn't have flaky scalp anymore! It works very well but I saw nothing about flaky scalp! I am a longtime CeraVe user since 2018! Thank you, CeraVe! Highly recommended! Hey customers, you will love this product!
