Most Helpful Positive Review Love the size, pouch not big enough
Bought this for a trip we're taking and also to leave out in our camper. Tiny! But seems to work well. Wish it had a lower heat setting, but there is only "on" or "off." The pouch is a great idea but with the reinforced power cord closest to the flat iron it was nearly impossible to close the pouch far enough to seal the Velcro together. I took both pieces off and re-sewed them farther apart so it now closes fine.
Most Helpful Critical Review truly for people that have relatively straight hair
I travel quite a bit and need compact, yet powerful items. I had such high hopes for this flat iron as the hair specialist at the store said it worked well. It did not. Full disclosure - I have fine slightly frizzed, cowlick bangs. I use a GHD straightener normally which gets hot enough to undo my hair's natural wave to stick straight up. This flat iron got my bangs to flatten out, but it did not last the whole day. I was not in a humid environment. So, really it was just the strength of the iron. Used it two times just to make sure. Does not replace a real iron, so keep your expectations in check. Otherwise, it is compact and travel friendly. I am, however, returning this item as it did not meet my needs.

Wow, this thing is insane!!! Heats up in a hurry and does not disappoint
Bellz from Virginia
Okay I really love this. It is so small, like smaller than the length of my hand!! Much smaller than I thought, but I love it! If I'm traveling somewhere for more than a day, I'd bring my regular straightener, but this one is perfect for touch ups and to keep at with me If I'm going somewhere after work or something. Love it. Also purchased a mini curling iron which I also love.
Waste of money

Doesn't work. I have many flat irons. This one sucks. Waste of money and waste of time trying to use it. If you happen to get your hair straight enough to be satisfied it just gets frizzy after a few minutes. Hate it!
Perfect for me.
Jannyking from New York
I really like this tiny flat iron. It heats up quick and does the job for my hair. I can see how it would not be enough for thicker and longer hair, but it definitely works for me.
I really enjoyed my flat iron!

I use it daily and it get my hair very straight

I bought this mini to take to work on days I need a touch up. I use this mostly for my baby hairs around my face. This tool gets really hot and I've burned my face a couple of times times. There is no way to adjust the heat and the flat iron pulls my hair while running it through. I try not to use it as often as I have fine/medium hair.
Not a fan
Aging housewife from Lexington, SC
I was excited for this purchase and now wish I hadn't bought it. I have super short hair so standard flat irons don't work for me. This mini gets way to hot. I burned myself using it. Where I have longer hair pieces, the flat iron got stuck, snagged, or pulled my hair. Not a fan.
Useful for short hair

I do like the product.
Ok but will not buy it again

I bought this to use for traveling but even though is a very convenient size it has a set temp and is not hot enough.
Great mini flat iron, but....

I was really excited about this because I've always wanted to try the babyliss flat iron but can't afford it. This was only 30 dollars which for a flat iron this small can be a litttle on the pricey side but not bad compared to their average pricing. However, there are a few cons. One in that you can't change the heat settings. It heats up to one setting which I believe is 450 and that is a very high heat especially for thin or damaged hair. Secondly, is that it uses ceramic plates. That's not a big deal I don't mind ceramic but the whole reason I wanted this was to try out their titanium plates. I thought this was going to be a literal tiny version of their normal flat iron but it's not. This is great for traveling if you don't wanna carry a big flat iron with you, or if you're staying the night at a friends or something. It does heat up very quickly and is easy to use, however because of its tiny size will take a lot longer to do your entire head of hair especially on longer thicker hair. I think this would be best for someone with really short hair. It goes through the hair smoothly and doesn't snag or tear or anything. Just takes a long time. One thing I do really like is that because it's so small you can do really tight, tiny curls which I love. All in all, it's a good mini flat iron but really wish that they would tweak it to be able to change the heat settings and that they would use titanium plates instead of ceramic. Mainly only got it for its cute tiny size and it's convenience for traveling as well as to try out their nano technology and titanium plates but this is not the same as their bigger flat iron.
Great mini iron.

I only straighten my bangs, so don't need a full size flat iron. This works great.
Jaye from Chicago
Wrap my hair blow-dried natural hair & use this flat iron to get rid of the small creases from my head scarf. It definitely does what it needs to do. My hair is always nice & shiny. Only use it on a small portion of my hair. Not all over. I think it works best for strengthening small section of hair. I wish that it had adjustable temperature settings but I suppose that the "on" temperature is safe for smaller sections. Have yet to use it during the summer.

Very disappointed in this product. It doesn't get even close to hot enough to straighten hair. And there is too much space between the plates so not enough pressure to straighten hair. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I would buy this again, I think I need one for travel as wel
Robbin from Atlanta Georgia
I use it every day, very easy to use
This thing really sucks.

I bought this on a whim in the checkout line. I thought it would be great since cutting my hair to shoulder length, but it just didn't do the job. at. all. Doesn't do a good job of straightening even when working in tiny sections. Could not use it to put a little curl in at all. 1/10 would not recommend. I took it back the next day. I'd expect better from BaByliss.
DID NOT work!!!

Can't adjust heat; didn't straighten hair. Returning :/!
Small yet fierce
Celina from Denver
Got this to control my bangs and baby hair and it is perfect. It gets hot enough to make a difference and it is small enough to do what a 1 inch iron can't reach
Like this Mini Iron
Vera K. from IL
Nice and comfortable mini iron travel size. Good to take with you all the time and use it during the day.
Not a bad product
Ladybug from WV
This is a good product for small touch ups and short hair but for general styling I would use a bigger straightener but not a bad product
Spend a little more money and get something bigger
MHL from Mississippi
This is just too small. My hair is thin and medium length and I couldn't even use it on 1/2 of my head. When you hold it to straighten or curl it it will burn your fingers. I used it for just a couple minutes and will not ever use it again. I will invest in another, slightly bigger straightener.
Karan from Springtown, TX
I bought this specifically to replace my 1 1/2 in. straightener. Perfect for my pixie cuts.

Just got this iron and I love it!! Perfect for bangs and close to the scalp. Really good heat. Definitely recommend although I'll keep using my full size for the rest of my hair.
