Most Helpful Positive Review WHY HAVENT YOU BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT YET?!
Wow. All i can say about this product is YUM. First of all, this dry shampoo smells absolutely AMAZING! I can't even describe the smell but if I had to try I'd say a mix between a mango-strawberry-cream-smoothie! Itssss soooo good! Ive tried AT LEAST 13 different dry shampoos!!! That includes: Pantene, Dove, Suave (reg and keratin), Tresamme, Paul Mitchell, Bed Head, Batiste, Salon Graphix Invisible, Not Your Mothers.. , PSSSSST, Salon Graphix BIG, None of them have compared to this. HONESTLY!! After applying this dry shampoo I wait a minute or two then i go threw my hair and rub it through then you can brush threw with a brush but I usually skip this step. It has the perfect amount of powder or whatever it is. Doesn't look white at all after rubbing in and completely soaks up oil. This is a must buy!
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointed
I bought this dry shampoo because it had so many great reviews BUT for me (I have semi-thin, straight hair) it did hardly anything. It removed oil initially but after about 1 hour my hair looked the same as before. It smells nice and made my hair feel softer but not worth it, it didn't do its job. Will be returning.

I've never been a fan of dry shampoo or found one that worked for me, but this product is a game changer! I can go days without washing my hair and put a little of this stuff in and it looks good as new! There's no white cast and it doesn't make my hair feel gritty or dirty, overall LOVE.
Better than the rest at this price point
MissSmarteePantz from Temecula
I am so picky with my dry shampoos! This is the best you will find for the price. It does the job it promises, no white cast, and it smells fantastic!
Spray it, let it sit for 5 minutes. Then massage it in with your fingers. This is the method recommended to me by my stylist for all dry shampoos.

The best dry shampoo!
Trish from Arkansas
I've tried a few different dry shampoos and this one is by far my favorite. I have thin hair that gets oily pretty quickly and this one legit leaves my hair feeling clean between washes. And it doesn't weigh my hair down or leave it feeling stiff and crusty like some other dry shampoos.
Deb from Georgetown TX
I've used several well known dry shampoos and none compare to this one. Leaves no build up or flakes behind also smells wonderful. Eva keeps my hair looking fresh for days, love it!
Great Budget Dry Shampoo
Amanda from United States
Finding a good dry shampoo for my finicky and fine, blonde hair was a lengthy process. After trial and error, I found a great product my hair loved, but my budget did not.
Fast forward to discovering EVA NYC Freshen Up Dry Shampoo. I stumbled upon this dry shampoo and love it. It works well at half the price of my favorite brand. Not only does it work well, it is the best scented dry shampoo I've used.
The best dry shampoo out there!
Mary from SF, CA
I've tried Klorane, Living Proof, a zillion other dry shampoos over the past couple of years. My go-to used to be Hask Charcoal Purifying for a long time, but now I've found this one and I'm not going back. It's so light and fresh and doesn't leave my hair feeling gritty or coarse. Please don't stop carrying this!
Smells great so that's a plus
Madison from Georgia
Overall I was super excited to try this product. It had great reviews and was cheaper than some of the other dry shampoos. The only thing I liked about this was the price and the smell. Other than that, it did absolutely nothing for my hair. This dry shampoo doesn't seem to be a powder base like the other ones so maybe that's why it didn't work for my hair type. I was so bummed that this didn't work for my hair because it smells so good compared to some other dry shampoos.
It was okay
J from Kentucky
I've used this in between washing my hair and it's just okay nothing exceptional. There are other brands I've tried that I liked better.
New Favorite Dry Shampoo
Jil from Las Vegas, NV
This smells amazing, but is not overpowering with fragrance. The powder is so fine that it makes my hair feel very soft unlike other dry shampoos that make my hair feel gritty. This absorbs enough grease that it keeps my hair looking fresh all day. I only have to re-apply a little bit the next days to refresh my hair again.
Katie from Allentown
I love this dry shampoo. It works so well in between washes even when my hair gets pretty greasy. Even with brown hair it doesn't leave any white residue.
Smells so good, but does nothing to my hair

this didn't do anything for my hair, pointless to buy unless u want it to make ur hair smell good
Best Dry Shampoo I have tried!
Ellie from Maryland
This is the only dry shampoo I have tried that really works. It soaks up oil & makes hair look more normal without feeling strange or turning hair white. Smells great too & does not have an aerosol scent like other dry shampoos.

This dry shampoo is the best I have ever tried! I haven't washed my hair in 6 days and I applied the dry shampoo twice and hair still isn't oily. It doesn't stiffen hair at all. The product doesn't build up either. Smells great too.
Works and smells really good
Lisa from Moss Point, MS
I use this one to three times a week. I have well water and blonde hair. I try not to shampoo that often to keep it from turning brassy. This helps keep it from looking oily and it smells really good too. I have stocked up on this since it so well priced.

Maybe I have high standards when it comes to dry shampoo. I first discovered it about 14 years ago and have been searching for "the best" ever since. I've tried Batiste, Bumble + bumble, L'Oréal, Living Proof, DryBar... the list goes on. If it says "dry shampoo" on the bottle there's a good chance I'm going to try it.
I don't think I'm super picky, but maybe I am pickier than I thought. I really just want my dry shampoo to absorb grease and extend the life of my wash - I don't really think that's too much to ask. It smelling great is a plus, but not a requirement - I don't mind unscented products if they work spectacularly.
Price - Eva NYC is comparatively inexpensive.
Scent - Eva NYC smells like a port-a-potty air freshener. I will undoubtedly get some hate for this, but every time I sprayed it I got this weird "what IS that though???" vibe. I sprayed it the other day and it came to me... this is the same type of scent profile I swear they use in Bouse Houses. Maybe I'm wrong, stranger things have happened, but since my brain made that connection I haven't been able to shake it. Not exactly what I'm going for. The good news is, like most dry shampoos I've tried, the scent doesn't carry, so it won't stop me from hate panning this product.
Function - okay, so in my opinion, it doesn't smell great. Does it absorb grease and extend the life of my wash? NO. Which is so infuriating to me. This stuff somehow makes my hair GREASIER after I use it. I keep trying it, thinking it'll be different, and just trying to get through the bottle because I am outside of my return window and I'm wearing a scrub cap to work so nobody is seeing my hair anyway - but honestly, if I was trying to have my hair actually look decent, I'd have already thrown this in the trash. I'll give it that it's probably better for my hair and scalp overall because it's not drying my hair out in general - which is probably a pro for some of you. But I have superfine, thin hair - I can't afford to have it weighed down by grease when other dry shampoos I've used have given me not only grease absorption but also texture that really amps up volume on a head of hair that absolutely needs it.
Bottom line? I have repurchased both Living Proof and DryBar for their formulas - they work really well for what I'm intending and although I still keep trying new brands, I seem to always go back to them. I am READY to be done with this bottle so that I can at least know my hair isn't a greasy mess when I get home and take my scrub cap off. As it stands, Eva NYC will not be a brand I try hair products from again - and if it's the first dry shampoo you've tried, and you're as confused by the positive reviews as I am, maybe try a different brand because dry shampoo in and of itself is from the gods. Eva NYC is not. I gave it 2 stars for decent quantity for the price - but really, does the price and quantity even matter if the product doesn't live up to your standards?

I love this!! This was my first time trying it out, I usually get the Batiste brand but wanted to try something new that had cleaner ingredients and that would leave my hair not feeling so heavy. I workout 6 days a week for 40 mins or longer so dry shampoo is a must for me to not wash my hair so often! This worked out so perfect! Smells great, hair doesn't feel gunky, and absorbs oils so well. Leaves hair feeling like you washed it or at least day 2 hair! I'm seriously amazed. You also don't have to use as much as you do with batiste!
Girl on the go from Florida
I've used this dry shampoo a handful of times since buying it and I'm impressed. I have spent lots of money on dry shampoo looking for the best one. I've used everything from Redken, bumble and bumble, drybar to drugstore brands. I workout every morning before work and don't have time to shower, blow dry and style my hair. This is the only dry shampoo I've tried that actually absorbs the oil / grease and doesn't leave my hair stiff or dirty feeling and I don't have to apply more halfway through the day if my hair is down. I have brown hair and it doesn't leave a white color to it either.
Works and smells good

I initially tried a deluxe size somewhere and got hooked. I usually use my hask charcoal dry shampoo which works amazing but sometimes leaves me powdery. But I don't have that issue with this dry shampoo and love that it keeps my hair smelling fresh and gives some volume.
Great Cruelty-Free Dry Shampoo
CD1108 from Boston
I'd been using Batiste Tropical scent for quite a while, but it's tested on animals (sold in mainland China) so I needed to find a cruelty-free alternative. I've tried so many high-end dry shampoos and they've all been so heavily scented that I couldn't tolerate them (returning the Ouai one for this reason) — headache inducing. Based on a YouTuber's recommendation and the Ulta reviews, decided to try this EVA NYC one. Smells exactly like Amik@ products — a clean but not overbearing scent. No residue and makes my hair look and feel clean. I will repurchase.
The smell is harsh, but if you can handle this is GOOD
Lacie from MO
The only reason I won't be returning this dry shampoo, is after a couple of uses it really does do the job well. I just have a really hard time with the scents. I searched for a long time for a budget friendly UNSCENTED dry shampoo and just can't find anything that works. This one works great, but has a very strong smell. Reminds me of the amika dry shampoo smell - so if you like that, you'll love this. I just can't handle the strong scent that hangs around all day.
Leeli from Houston,Texas
It's clear so you don't have to worry about blending it in, and give you tons to use for texturing ! Smells amazing and honestly great quality for the price !
Best dry shampoo!!
Alex from Indiana
I've tried so many dry shampoos, I have thin and very oily hair. This one is the best I've tried and it's so cheap!
I would buy this product again.
Vanessa from Las Vegas
Smells very good and does the job. Hair feels very natural and clean.
Great dry shampoo
Taylor from San Diego
Great dry shampoo for a reasonable price. It absorbs oils but also doesn't leave a super matte finish to the roots. It has a fresh scent. I love that it doesn't leave any white residue in your hair.
