The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream is specially formulated for very dry skin types and, as such, is not oil-free. If you have oilier skin, I would recommend trying the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I recently came back to this product after several years. I noticed awful smell this time which I did not notice in the past. Today I decided to check the lot code and the expiration date but they were okay. Seeing other reviews about the smell, this can't be normal. I am disappointed in Clinique after more than 20 years of being their customer.
Smells bad - something off
I thought maybe I got a bad package of this because I've been using it for years and never noticed a smell before. My new jar has a very gross musty smell to it. I don't know if it's a new formulation and it's supposed to smell like that or if something is wrong.
Good moisturizer for dry skin but not sensitive skin
I have pretty dry and sensitive skin. I was hoping this would be my new favorite affordable moisturizer but this made my face extremely red and irritated. Plus its very greasy. On the other hand, this product does last a long time on the face and creates a "glass skin" effect!

I wish I read the reviews before buying this but I didn't because I've used it in the past multiple times. However, it seems they've changed the formulation so now the moisturizer has a very musty smell, like old clothes that have been sitting in the attic for 40 years. At first I thought I got a bad batch but then I read the reviews and knew I wasn't the only one who has noticed this change. Very disappointing.
