Q&A

Showing 5 out of 7 Questions
Q
How do thermal rollers work without electricity?
Asked by Donna
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
The Ceramic Thermal Hair Rollers work by trapping heat from your hair, which is typically generated when you blow-dry your hair or style it with heat. Once you roll them in, they retain that heat for a while, helping set your curls or volume as they cool down. No electricity needed, just the heat from your hair! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Do u need to clips
Asked by Donna
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
The ceramic thermal hair rollers are designed to stay in place without the need for clips, thanks to their design. However, for added security and to prevent slipping, many people still prefer using clips. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
ive been using velcro rollers for years but i have to be more careful re hair being pulled out..how do thermals work? I dont want plug in type rollers...ty.
Asked by kb
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
The Ceramic Thermal Hair Rollers you’re asking about are actually similar to velcro rollers, but they work by retaining heat to help set your curls or volume. They don’t require electricity, so no need to worry about plug-in types. Just roll them into your hair after blow-drying, and they’ll hold your style while cooling! Was this answer helpful to you

Why did I wait so long to get these?!!?

For years I've struggled with getting my hair to hold a curl, volume, or any kind of shape. I've used curling irons, flat irons, and brush/blow dry. I've had varying degrees of success with the aforementioned, but NEVER consistent results. I knew rollers would be a good option for me, but I will adm...

10 Minutes of Panic and Destroyed Hair

I am writing now after ten minutes of actual terror trying to get one of the eight rollers out of my hair. My hair is long and fine, and seven of the eight rollers came out like a dream. However, there was one roller framing my face that refused to come out. Even though I had rolled it just like t...

Mixed Thoughts - Hair Breakage?

The result was very pretty; I used the medium and large rollers and it gave more of a blowout look vs ringlet curls (which is what I was going for).I have mostly straight hair with a slight wave pattern, so these did not work as a heatless roller for me. Instead, I curled with a 2" curling iron first, rolling each section directly after curl. The curlers did not stay in for me without pins, even with using hairspray prior to rolling. I will say, though, that I have "slippery" hair at baseline. BE CAREFUL: I think I may have been a bit in a hurry when removing, and it BROKE A LOT OF HAIRS almost immediately at the root. Now I have many fly aways that are ~1.5 inch that stick straight up on top of my head. This may be my fault but take this into consideration when using.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I love the 2 and 2.25, but the 1.5 gives a tighter curl than I wanted. Still, the quality is top-notch
