Not effective as a purple shampoo
It cleans well enough but is not sufficiently pigmented to tone brassiness in blonde hair. Save your money. There are other purple sgamppos without sodium chloride that are more effective.

During the pandemic, I let my hair grow out and now it is a beautiful shiny white. This shampoo takes the yellow out of it and leaves it shiny and healthy. I can even use it every time -- no purple residue.

i was expecting a lot from this purple shampoo because my mom loved it on her hair and she uses their color care shampoo and conditioner and loves it. but this product did NOTHING for my hair. when i get it styled, it's almost platinum blonde. but this literally changed almost nothing about the brassiness in my hair. smelled great but did nothing.
