Worth every penny for those that cannot tolerate chemical sun protection.
Not gritty, ashy looking or heavy feeling. I wear it daily under makeup and it performs beautifully.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra-Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50:

After spending days searching for an excellent mineral sunscreen for my face this summer I decided to order this one. Given that a lot of the reviews are very positive, I have to believe that I got a bad batch, or that the one I got was really old and gone bad, or something. What came out was some kind of greasy oil, not sunscreen. I decided to try it anyway and as soon as I put it on my face I immediately realized it smelled HORRIBLE. Not like eh this isn't the greatest smell but I can deal, HORRIBLE. After 30 seconds I decided I just needed to wash it off because the smell was following me around like a cloud and I couldn't stand it. Despite having it on for less than a minute total, the next day my entire face was RED. Luckily it went away after another day or so and I didn't break out but this product was just total garbage.

I was looking for a good sunscreen for under my make up. Basically willing to pay anything. I saw good reviews so decided to order online. I am very pale but this still was very white. It took a while to rub in and absorb. It was pretty greasy. And I have dry skin and it was still too great. I waited about 30 mins before putting on my make up. My make up usually stays put when I use moisturizer but with this after about 15 mins my make up creased on basically every line possible. I will be returning.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra-Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50:

Such a great sunscreen - lightweight enough yet still gives you excellent protection. Not greasy and easy to rub in. I used to use Aveeno, which is comparable, but this one is mineral based, so it reflects the sun's rays instead of absorbing them. Was a bit hesitant due to the price tag, but I used a coupon which helped.

This stuff is not greasy at all which is why I like it. It does leave a white cast though but works well under makeup. The tinted version is also good without the white cast

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra-Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50:

I got this thinking it would be a great sunscreen because of the online reviews. Well it was the worst sunscreen I've ever used on my face. It's soooo greasy and makes my face feel awful. It also has a terrible scent. Save your money and just buy neutrogena or something because this stuff was so bad...

I started a new job with a 30 minute commute one way. It wasn't long before I noticed dark spots. New foundation was darker than before.
I saw a write up for this in a magazine. I use it everyday under foundation or alone if rushed. I went to buy some new foundation and was a shade lighter !!! I'm very happy and so is my skin.
