Comments about Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream Hydrating Colour Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 30:

I have been looking for a good CC,BB, tinted moisturizer...something to wear on hot summer days that is semi light. I am 49 with fair skin that is dry skin but with an oily T-zone and redness on my cheeks. This CC cream is heavier then I would like and suprisingly a bit drying. It doesn't seem to blend well with certain moisturizers either. It does help with the color correcting and has a nice dewy finish, but it has no staying power in my t-zone and makes my dry skin areas look older. I think I'll try the BB cream and see how that looks.

I had received a sample of moisture surge tinted moisturizer awhile back that I was in search of.apparently it has been discontinued. So I tried this under my clinique cc cream and you don't get the dewy effect, but on top of it works pretty good.you can use with foundation also and doesn't look heavy.

I tried Clinique years ago and didn't like the orange undertones. I decided to give this one a try because of the Ulta rep's recommendation.

The orange undertones are still there and i tried a CC cream thinking got would be similar to a tinted moisturizer except with color correction. I was wrong, it felt like a foundation and I felt the layer of makeup on my skin the whole day. Furthermore, I have oily skin (and mentioned this to the Ulta rep) and this only increased oil production. I was very oily by mid-day, so much that I started to wash my face and just moisturize for the remainder of the day. Maybe this product isn't made for oily skin? I'm not sure but I'm just relaying my experience.

Being a person that has not worn anything but moisturizer for the past 2 years and trying to find a new makeup regime, I definitely do not recommend this product if you want your skin to "breath" during the day as I have become accustomed to. When I was using this product I felt like I had put a blanket over my face and it wasn't "breathing" as it was before.

I received this as a free gift and I am really enjoying it. It covers well and matches my skin color quite well. I do find it makes me a bit shinier than I'd like to be at times but a little dusting powder can cure that.

I am wanting to try the Clinique moisture surge cc cream or Clinique even better liquid foundation. What are the differences as far as coverage. Which is more moisturizing and is better to minimize pores. I prefer a natural glow, not a matte finish. Also, I wear It Cosmetics CC Ilumination in Light, but am looking for something less heavy. Which shade in Clinique moisture surge CC cream would be comparable? Which shade in Clinique Even Better liquid foundation is comparable?

Hi! If you are looking for something that offers more illumination, CLINIQUE'S Moisture Surge CC Cream is very light reflecting. CLINIQUE'S Even Better Foundation treats discoloration and uneven skin tone. They are both amazing options, depending on your skin concerns.
In order to find the perfect match, we suggest that you visit the ULTA store nearest you that carries a full line of CLINIQUE products. All brands are unique, so we offer complimentary color matching each day at CLINIQUE. You can even try a sample at home if that is what you wish to do. We look very forward to working with you!

Is the SPF in this physical or chemical? Also, I love Urban Decay Naked Skin (sorry!) for the lightweight feel, but I'd like to start searching for something even more lightweight and better for my skin. I see that this product has a bit more coverage than the tinted moisturizer, and all the reviews on the tinted moisturizer say it blends very nicely. I'd like to have a lightweight "no makeup" feel but with a bit more coverage than tinted moisturizers offer for old acne scars. I've tried other CC creams before that felt like a greasy foundation and didn't feel like they blended very well. Would the CC cream be ideal?

Clinique states that the SPF is a blend of both physical and chemical sunscreen ingredients. Yes, this product is an excellent option for those seeking a natural looking, all in one tinted moisturizer plus sunscreen with sheer-to-medium coverage that helps correct redness, dullness, and sallowness.

Great question! Similar to IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Illumination Foundation, Moisture Surge CC Cream Hydrating Colour Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 provides tinted coverage, hydration, and sun protection.

The most noticeable differences between the two products are the level of coverage and the finish. Moisture Surge CC Cream Hydrating Colour Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 provides light-to-medium coverage, while IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Illumination Foundation provides full coverage. Moisture Surge CC Cream Hydrating Colour Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 features a natural finish, while IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Illumination Foundation features an illuminating finish with subtle dewy sheen.

While both products are formulated for all skin types, Moisture Surge CC Cream Hydrating Colour Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is oil-free.

Medium is likely your best match in both products, though we do suggest testing both at your nearest ULTA Beauty store:
