Dip the sponge into product and apply in a bouncing or "stippling" motion. Use the rounded end to cover large areas of the face and the pointed end to apply in tight crevices and corners.

Beauty Tip: Wet the sponge first with water and squeeze out excess water. A damp sponge will help use less product and also apply it more seamlessly.

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics Blending Sponge:

i've been using the regular beauty blender for a few years but decided to give a cheaper one a try. it's too stiff, not very spongey which causes its application to go on more streaky than with a beauty blender.

    Awful

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics Blending Sponge:

This sponge absorbs foundation and wastes it! If you are interested in getting a sponge to apply foundation I suggest real techniques orange sponge. If you want something to fix make up mistakes by the elf precision sponge trio.

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics Blending Sponge:

I love ELF products but this is one I won't buy again. The sponge is really dense so when you dab on makeup, it's kind of like punching yourself in the face . It tends to absorb a lot of product so I started applying my moisturizer and sunscreen to the sponge to help prevent so much product absorption. But the product still gets deep in there and is impossible to clean out. Real techniques is much softer and easier to clean though it's lifespan isn't the greatest

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics Blending Sponge:

I have had previous expirence with a handful of makeup blenders (bueaty blenders) and this one has to be one of my favorites. It is a nice texture, blends liquid makeup well, and is affordable.

I have bought this sponge several times - it's my go-to. I haven't had problems with it soaking up too much product and it always feels just fine on my skin. Speeds up application and makes it look smooth.

      Love but...

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics Blending Sponge:

I bought this about two weeks ago and absolutely loved it as soon as I started using it. Overall it evens out and smooths foundation very well. It's very soft and gentle on the face, has such a smooth feel to it. My biggest complaint is that the day after I started using it, it began to start tearing when I accidentally scratched it with my nail. Then after that it kept getting worse. I would definitely but again if it was more durable.

Every sponge is not meant to be a blender.

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics Blending Sponge:

It's odd that a blending sponge can hold too much water AND soak up too much foundation at the same time - but this sponge finds new & innovative ways to disappoint. It tore after 2 uses when I set it out to dry, and the texture of the sponge material is too heavy & dense to work with easily (it won't let go of enough water, and soaks up foundation.)

This particular material is a poor choice for a damp blending tool. All sponges aren't created equal, but at least it was an inexpensive lesson learned.

          Blending Brick

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics Blending Sponge:

I was really disappointed when I bought this sponge. First, it felt like i was punching myself in the face just to get a sub-par blend. It soaked up so much product (yes, I used it damp), and it was so hard clean out because it was so stiff. such a shame
