It might work well for others, but I prefer the lashes lids and lips version that separates in the bottom. The combination works a lot better for me.

Comments about Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil:

I can't believe how well this stuff works! I usually double cleanse, but use a foaming cleanser as my first step. However, lately the weather has been horribly cold and dry, and I've developed some flaky dry spots on my normally oily face. I'd wanted to try a cleansing oil for a while, and decided that now would be a good time to try it. This stuff is amazing! I pumped it into my hands, used my fingers to rub it onto my whole face (and my closed eyes), rinsed, and voila! No more raccoon eyes!

I am 49 yo and Ive been using this for as long as I remember! I would never use anything else on my face for that first cleanse. I love the clean feeling and softened skin. I dont love the price, but it lasts a long time and it really is worth it!

Best makeup remover I have ever used. You only nee a little bit and you don't have to use a lot of force either. Although waterproof mascaras are still a little tough to get off.

I use this to help dissolve my makeup in order to remove it. I've found the best way to use is to apply liberally to hands and rub into face, and then wet your hands and keep scrubbing. Then I wipe my face clean with a makeup remover/baby wipe.

Comments about Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil:

This makeup remover/cleanser is fantastic! I used to only want to use Lancôme Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover, but I can't afford it! It was always the absolute best at removing makeup easily! However, I just couldn't afford it and I'd end up getting to use it only when it would come with a gift and I'd get the trial sizes. Love those!! However, this really is much more affordable and they give you a LOT of it! It will last and I was amazed at how well it works at removing very difficult waterproof makeup. Usually it's the mascara (high-end) that is difficult to remove and I don't even use the waterproof kind, because the regular mascara is so good that it stays put until I remove it! And, it's usually difficult to remove without help as in a cleanser like this and other prestige brands. I'll definitely buy it again and I recommend it! I was really so surprised because I've never been a Clinique fan, but I'm becoming one fast! Love this stuff!!

Comments about Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil:

I've had this for a few weeks now and I really like it! It's way less messy than the balm and I love that I can just pump a few pumps into my hand instead of digging in a jar. It removes my eye makeup pretty well but i do have to admit i still have a little residue under my eyes from eye liner. I used this before I actually cleanse though so it works perfectly for me. I do have acne prone skin but this doesn't appear to break me out thankfully. Don't be scared of the liquidity of this, I just pump in into my cupped palm and rub my hands together then put on my dry face and I don't get it anywhere.

I was tired of using make up wipes & wanted a better alternative to use in the shower & i was recommended this & let me tell you it is AMAZING & just melts away the make-up. I use this in the shower & its a way easier process. I also use my 3-step clinique after i use this in the shower. I highly recommend it. Especially if your like me that just wants to get it done quick

I used this product how it was recommend to use. Apply to dry skin with dry hands and massage all over face and eyes to remove makeup, and rinse. Well it works.. but my skin started breaking out EXTREMELY bad. I rarely get breakouts due to finding a skin care routine that works for my skin. After a week of using my skin was covered with breakouts!!! This was my first and LAST Clinique purchase.

Followed bottle directions -- made a big mess. Applied product to cotton swab first: took numerous pads to remove most of makeup but residue remained (and I only wear liquid -- nothing else!). Applying product to cotton swab wasted a lot of product. I much prefer s foaming cleanser or cleansing towelette.

My main concern is blackheads, primarily on my nose. I get an oily t-zone, mainly the nose. And dry cheeks. Is this a good product to use as a cleanser on it's own, or should I use this as a precleanse step before using a normal foaming cleanser? Also, is this product good for combination skin?
