Fresh, creamy, and enriched with nourishing marine extracts, this is the ideal face wash for those who prefer a hint of mechanical exfoliation in their daily cleansing routine. This easy-rinsing formula features tiny seaweed grains to buff away dulling impurities as bladderwrack extract (a marine botanical rich in vitamins and minerals) softens and rejuventates skin without leaving it feeling tight or dry.
Gently massage cleanser in cirular motions on wet skin. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Use daily as needed. Follow with toner or astringnet and moisturizer. If product gets into eyes, rinse well with water.

Comments about Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap:

I use this product in the shower to cleanse my face. However, the packaging makes me never want to purchase it again. It has a twist off lid and too much product comes out. It needs a pump or to be packaged in a squeezable tube.

Comments about Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap:

I did an online skin analysis and ordered some samples based on the results. I used to have combination skin but as I got into my 40s started to develop very dry skin. I tried many things to clean and moisturize my face but my skin was still extremely dry. What worked for me finally was the use of an enzyme exfoliator ( different brand) which got rid of the dry flaky skin after two or three uses and then starting over fresh using the seaweed cleanser and grapefruit toner. I have been doing this for about a month now and this is the best my skin has been in the last year.

      Loveeeee

Comments about Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap:

I've been using this lightweight cleanser as my morning and night cleanser and i have loved it so far. Using different cleansers dried out my skin, but this has really kept my skin hydrated and fresh! I love the smell and the way it feels on my face. I use the mia2 to cleanse, but i like to hand scrub a little before to really feel the seaweed pieces! I would recommend this for dry skin as it's made my skin feel great!

Comments about Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap:

It sucks so much that I have to return this. I'm someone who is a product junkie when it comes to skin care. I just recently cleared my skin and just ran out of a daily cleanser. I read the reviews and was sold on this one. I surprisingly love the smell and for someone who's skin isn't as sensitive it may work and it's very moisturizing. For me on the other hand, I noticed irritation on my first use but thought it would go away...NOPE! This morning my entire face was covered in pimples, a few whiteheads (which i NEVER get EVER), my skin is flaky, and itches. So I'm not telling you not to buy but if you're someone who can't use too many products or even some oils break you out, you may want to skip this one. The foaming Glycolic cleanser is great though, you just can't use it every day. I'm returning this one!

        Doesn't follow claims

        By Mck mua

Comments about Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap:

First of all this felt like it did nothing. I use a cleanser strictly for taking off my makeup then would go in with this. This didn't clean my skin nor did it exfoliate because the seaweed chunks are soft. Didn't love it wouldn't buy again.

I've only been using this for about a week but I've noticed improvements in my skin already. I use it twice a day and I've noticed that small red bumps that I would get on my cheeks (bad reactions to products, stress, and just bad luck) are gone. What's better is that I don't have as much hyperpigmentation when the bumps leave as I used to. I pair this with the acne serum at night and witch hazel toner. In the morning I tone with the witch hazel and moisturize with skin drink by lush or the rose water spray

It doesn't foam, but leaves my skin feeling clean. It does contain bits of seeing that are supposed to help exfoliate. I don't know if it was just mine but initially it smelled like dead seaweed which was not that great. I found myself using it without breathing through my nose LOL. I had my husband smell it and he didn't think it was that bad so maybe it was just my sensitive now. In any case The product works great and I will repurchase although the bottle I s huge and should last me a long time for the price that it is it's a great buy

Doesn't seem to lather at all. I'm wondering if it's because I use a very small amount. Should I add more product, or does it just not lather when wet?

Our Seaweed Cleansing Soap is a great option for gently daily cleansing suitable for even sensitive skin. This product will also gently exfoliate the skin daily.
You may also use our Keratoplast Cream Soap which is a gentle soap-free cleanser that will help soothe and cleanse even the most sensitive skin. Keratoplast is a natural, botanical ingredient that reduces redness associated with broken capillaries and extreme sensitivity.
