Most Helpful Positive Review Amazing!
I purchased this after talking to an Ulta employee about my burning, stinging, super sensitve bright red cheeks. She took me over to the Clinique counter and put a bit on my face. I could NOT believe, in just a matter of seconds, how my face had calmed down. I felt it and saw it! I even got emotional. I didn't look like a clown anymore. There is nothing i don't love about this product. It has definitely changed the way I feel about my skin. I love it again.
Most Helpful Critical Review Hate this junk
If you think green low SPF of 15 will get you through your day, go for this junk. You will look white/green as a sheet and only have SPF 15 coverage (true, it's non-chemical, but at that low level who cares?) all day. It will clump pale green stuff in your eyebrows and hairline and is just smelly nasty stuff. Zero improvement in the texture or quality of my skin by using it long term and drives me nuts having it on so...PITCH IT and do NOT buy! HMK

I use it daily. It is easy to pack when traveling.
Doesn't work at all
Tori from Wisconsin
I tried several times to apply this solution, but it just clumps everywhere I put it. It's so frustrating because I have to start my whole skin care regimen all over again.
Ericka from Minnesota
I use this every day to cover my Rosacea.
I love this
Annie from TX
I have red, sensitive, acne prone skin. This comes out green to cancel redness. It has toned down my redness so much. I experienced no white cast or break outs. I love it.
Angie from Evansville, IN
Can't tell that it does anything for my redness. It clumps and is difficult to smooth out t even when extra time is allowed for moisturizer to absorb. I probably won't purchase this product again.
Great soothing base
Dogmomprof from Columbus, Ohio
This is a really nice primer/base. I have sensitive skin w/ocular rosacea and Clinique is one of the few brands I can use. This gives a nice light coverage w/some sun protection (even sunblocks for rosacea irritate me so the 15spf is fine). It can get a little clumpy when applied over the redness solutions moisturizer (also fab); but just use a makeup spong and it evens out. It absorbs quickly and looks natural.
Every Day Lifesaver
Cori from Illinois
It's all in the name - This truly is my "daily protective base" to minimize redness and to prime my face for makeup. I have mild rosacea and the Clinique Redness Solutions products are the only ones that have been able to help me maintain my redness. This protective base is my favorite item in the collection... It's a staple in my daily routine and nothing has ever come close to replacing it!
Clumpy and inaffective
tinted. from MO
This is a pain to smooth out. If my rosacea is super bad sometimes I will use it, but I have to put it on, let it set for 15-20 minutes, smooth out or remove and clumps, and then apply foundation. It also doesnt blend very well and can leave you with a green tint.
use Under makeup
Dottie from Santa Fe NM
I seem to get some irritation from it and it only partially covers the redness in my cheeks. I have switched to liquid bare minerals with the hope of covering this redness. It is only fair in my estimation. I'm not as happy as I'd hoped I'd be.
Great product, but drying
orangena18 from Dupont, PA
I love Clinique skin care, but this was a tad bit disappointing just because it dried out my skin. I have super sensitive & uneven skin. I used the 72 hour moisture surge moisturizer then the primer. However, it worked well on correcting redness, but left my skin a bit dry. I'll still continue to use it, but if you have dry skin, I don't recommend this product.
Disappointing and Gross
Miche from Sparks NV
I was very impressed in the store when I tried this product on my arm. My skin is red and it brought out the olive tone nicely. After washing this morning and letting my moisturizer dry for 20 minutes I excitedly applied this primer. The redness vanished, but as I applied the rest of make up it pulled up and rolled off grossly. I wiped my face with a dry towel. It's two hours into the day and it is still rolling off. Yuk. Taking it back.

I had a terrible allergic reaction to this. I don't know what is in it, but I have only ever had a reaction like this to a Murad product before. Very disappointed. I will check and compare the ingredients lists.
This needs improvement.

Having sensitive skin, in my early 70s I've developed rosacea. This was recommended by the Clinique rep. I do not like it and have only used it a few times with the same disappointing results. The product rolls up on the skin, does not apply evenly and frankly, I think Clinique's City Block is a MUCH better primer and you can get a higher sunscreen in City Block. Good bye to this one. I will avoid it like the plague.
Mommy You Look Scary
emily from orlando
This does not blend in. It takes a lot of rubbing (terrible for rosacea). It forms these nasty little clumpy things on the skin and it makes you look white as a ghost. My child hates when I wear it - says I look scary.
Great products always!
peanutx3 from Fairview Heights, IL
Clinique is all the works for me! Very fair and sensitive skin.
Great for hiding my broken capillaries!!
Angie from GA
I use it as my primer
It's a no go!
Kimmieboca from Los Angeles, CA
I really cannot understand how this product has good reviews. I found it to be thick, it does not spread evenly, and was very hard to blend into the skin. I had to return it. I would not recommend this product to others.
It is not that great
Rach from Fort myers, fl
It clumps into little tiny balls
Emilyfaye98 from Atlanta
Works good as a makeup primer and I love that it has spf in it. But I don't really see a difference in redness so I probably won't be buying it again. I'll probably try the one that reduces pores next.
New go-to primer
Bry from California
This is my new go-to primer, because it actually helps reduce the redness on my nose and cheeks. It is a little heavy, but a little bit goes a long way which is nice. Just a drop on each cheek and my forehead covers my whole face.. It helps smooth out my face for my powder foundation, I haven't tried it yet with my liquid foundation. So far my new fave.
Kyky from Bakersfield ca
I use it for my redness and so far it's the only product that's worked. I tried so many things and this isn't like holy grail buuuuut it's the best over all( so far)
Rosacea? Use it!
PatsMom from Victorville,CA
I love this primer but feel it doesn't go on real smooth like others do. It takes a bit to work it in to the skin. It does cover my redness and the sunscreen is a bonus!
Unfortunately I'm not yet sure about this produc
Lor from Schenectady, New York
It's more like the zinc oxide a lifeguard puts on his nose. Heavy, dries in green clumps. Does hide redness. Not good under makeup like advertised
Amy from Ft Lauderdale, FL
Tried this product on in store while shopping for new liquid foundation. It makes my cheeks less red as well as evens out my skin tone. When I applied the foundation on top of it it blended incredibly well and adds protection from the damage liquid foundation can cause. Bonus: can be used as a primer! Which I love :)
AmazING color corrector!!
Mrs.V from Nashville, TN
This is the best color corrector for red in my skin. It smells amazing and is so light and it's just perfect!!
