The smell of this volumizing spray gave me a headache. I wish companies would stop with the heavy scents they put in their products. On top of the obnoxious scent it also made my hair greasy. I have fine hair but a lot of it and I've always had to wash it every other day because it would start looking oily if I didn't. With this spray I'd wash my hair as usual. Towel dry my hair. Apply the spray as directed. Blow dry my hair as usua, and have oily hair like it was never washed at all. I thought after the first time I must have done something wrong, like maybe I used too much. I rewashed my hair the next morning and didn't put the product in (was in a rush). Hair was back to normal and not oily/greasy. Two days later I wash my hair again. This time though when I apply the spray I make sure I only use a minimal amount of product on my hair. Then I dry it and it was oily again. So between the obnoxious scent that gave me a headache, and my hair looking gross, I decided to give the bottle to a friend who has dry hair to begin with and doesn't mind heavy scents. Won't be buying this again though

I like the smell and it does not leave my hair feeling heavy or stiff in any way. BUT the volume it does give is gone within an hour after drying. I have had far more bad hair days than good since starting this spray a month ago. I have straight, slightly corse, medium thick hair.

Missing the original version. New is unbearable.
I've spent months looking for the original version of this product only to find out. It has been replaced by the new product in a red bottle. I bought some and tried it and the heavy fragrance made me feel sick and made my eyes water. The product also was not nearly as good as it used to be and I wonder why they bothered changing when they had the perfect product to begin with. Time to move on from VERB because I'm beyond exceptionally disappointed in this brand for changing the product.
