I am not sure of the effect of this product as it doesn't seem to absorb due to its poor formulation. Let me start with the beginning: Very runny, drips everywhere if you aren't careful. Ignore the grit
This product is amazing. Yes it's gritty but it works. I'm a Black woman with lots of dark spots and struggle to manage them. This definitely helps lighten. My skin always looks much brighter in the morning after applying at night.

I bought this on a whim… despite the bad reviews…and I am so glad that I did. It's gritty and it burns a little when you first put it on… but if you give it enough time to absorbe…and you don't use to much… you will be surprised how well it works. I noticed brighter skin in a couple of days.

Glad that I decided to try this product despite with people were saying about it being greedy and burning their face. This is a very concentrated form of vitamin C. That's why it feels greedy that you just have to let it soak into your face. You also don't want to use too much. Noticed a reduction in the redness on my face so I'm glad that I decided to give it a try. Always like the ordinary products as they are cheap, but they are also high-quality products.
Avoid very oily!!
I did not like this os was very oily and did not absorb into my skin. Major miss!
