This product is one of my favorite products from Hanskin because I have seen the most improvement with this formula. The product itself is a very lightweight, hydrating serum that has a slight orange tinge. The scent is very minimal and dissipates after applied to the skin. When worked into the skin, the watery formula gains a sort of tackiness, though not necessarily sticky. After about two to three weeks of use in the morning + sunscreen, I have begun to notice an evening of skin pigment and my dark spots fading. My only concern is the packaging of this product. My main qualm with Vitamin C products is that Vitamin C itself isn't the most stable ingredient. Seeing that this product is packaged into a dropper-type bottle, I am worried that it is prone to fast oxidation which alters the product's effects. Though, as along as you use the product within about 2 1/2 to 4 months, I don't believe this will be a big problem for most.
Was really excited to test out this product, but seems like it isn't for me. I can see how this product can be really nice for some people, but for someone like me who has sensitive skin and also a good amount of acne, it's really hard to use. If you barely have acne and/or maybe recovering from acne, I can see this doing pretty well for you. If the key is consistency with this product, it's hard for me to be consistent when I have breakouts here and there.

I have very sensitive skin. If I look at it wrong I'll breakout, but this didn't break me out. Ive had dark spots and dark areas (larger than spots) for a long time & this is the first time I've seen an actual improvement (even without consistent use). The smell is not great but mixing it with your favorite moisturizer can cover the smell up and also eliminate any tackiness (it's not super tacky). I'm sold. Try it. Definitely a confidence booster. 4 stars because of the smell BUT don't change the formula Hanskin!

I really wanted to like this product because I typically like Hanskin products but I couldn't get past the smell. It wasn't just unpleasant, it smells like burnt hair which is the last thing you want to put on your face. I was not impressed with the quality of the product either, this was a complete miss for me.

I have never used a vitamin C serum in my everyday skincare routine but this has been very helpful and it has been showing great results! Skin feels tighter and my complexion seems like it has improved! However, the smell is a bit fishy but once it is on my skin it doesn't smell anymore.

This has replaced my old serum which was Ole Hendrickson vitamin C and I had a bad skin allergy reaction to the point I had to get steroid shot. Been using this for two months now, I use it every morning. My skin is sensitive and have not had any reaction to using this. I like that it has Vitamin C and Niacinamide/Vitamin B3 as well. It goes on the skin well, however it does have a bit of a odd smell. It reminds me of like Korean barely tea type of smell with notes of nuttiness. Overall, happy with the product.

I use it in the morning after using toner and before lotion. I've noticed it moisturizes my dry skin and also brightens it. But everyone's right about the weird smell. I usually don't care much about scents of skincare products, but this one is oddly off-putting. Will still keep using the serum though!

I love this serum! I usually used my other vitamin c in the morning and I would follow up with a niacinamide serum. This one from hanskin has niacinamide in the serum!! That's one of the big pros for me since it's one less step in the morning and still great for my skin. This isn't irritating to my somewhat sensitive skin so definitely will be getting a new bottle once this runs out.

I enjoyed this product. I have been slacking off on covering my entire face with sunscreen since I wear my mask outdoors and have noticed dark spots developing around my cheeks. Using this product it has helped minimize their appearance. Very important to keep applying consistently however. There is a slight scent when applying it but I do not notice it afterwards when it dries.

Great vitamin C product to try, especially if you haven't tried one before. I found it very mild and love that in addition to the vitamin C, it also toned, hydrated and smoothed my skin. There was a slightly odd smell when I first started using it but haven't noticed it now that it's been several weeks. It is a slightly oil-type consistency which I did not mind at all.

I love using the vitamin c serum in my routine, especially in the winter. It has a slight scent but I'm not bothered by it at all. I use it comfortably and it works really well on my skin (I have dry/oily skin)! I like this one better than other brands I've tried!

Used it in my normal routine and it did provide this glow from within to my skin after use. It did make my skin feel a bit tight but it worked well and it was probably because it was a new product added to my routine.

I use this product every day for the past 2 weeks and it's really easy to apply as it is light weight and I do see the difference.

I used this product for the brightning effects as well as the moisturizing feel it gave my skin great for before I did my make up.

My skin tends to get blotchy and textured without the proper skincare to combat it. I ran out of my last vitamin C product and definitely felt the difference in my skin texture after going C-less for multiple months. The Hanskin Vitamin C Glow Serum is a great product that makes my skin feel illuminated and even in tone. I put a drop on my forehead and each cheek, then use my fingers to work it around the rest of my face. I'm not one to be bothered by strong fragrances. However, the serum does not smell good by any means. The smell goes away once the product is worked into the face but it is slightly off-putting. Knocking it down 1 star because of that, and also the dropper cap gets crusted up with residual product. Some mornings I just give up trying to open it. I'm wary of running it under hot water or washing around the bottle after use, since vitamin C can get oxidized in the presence of water. Make sure to take time to clean the rim before screwing the dropper back on. If you don't mind these two things, it's a great product to try.

I would give this product a 5 if it didn't have an unpleasant smell. Nonetheless, my skin (oily combo) absorbed the serum quite well. After finishing my routine, my skin did have a glow (not oily, thankfully) that was noticeable.

Not sure if I would recommend this product to be honest. The smell of the product completely deters me from using it. I've tried for weeks and haven't noticed much of a difference. I was hoping the smell would fade like the skinceuticals fe ferulic bug nope. Strong as ever. If I noticed a major difference in my skin I would probably keep using it but the smell isn't worth a slight difference.

Super hydrating and soaks into the skin very well. The only thing is, it smells weird but if you read the ingredients it's self-explanatory. Smell goes away pretty fast. Overall worth the price and will continue to keep using.

I began incorporating the use of vitamin C into my daily skincare routine with Hanskin's vitamin C serum, and my skin has improved so much over the past month. Living in Oregon, where there hasn't been much sun and having skin that breaks out quite a bit during my time of the month, my coworkers and I have noticed a difference with me! Although the smell of the serum isn't the nicest, Hanskin's products never fails to make me happy!!

I am on my second bottle of this product. The key is consistency ^^ I would highly recommend this product for those of us with sensitive skin. Vitamin C products can usually sting but this one is super comfortable to use. 1 star off for not seeing results super quickly but with daily use over time, I can definitely see a difference!

First time using a Vitamin C serum and so far so good. When I started using this serum my skin was going through a rough dry spell with the onset of California winter weather. This was an easy and much-needed step to add to my skincare routine. I love that the serum is easy to apply and isn't sticky. A few drops go a long way. After a couple of weeks, my skin was more hydrated and smooth. It definitely helped with my dry and tired skin. The serum does have a pungent smell, however, I always applied moisturizer to my face after the serum, the smell went away almost immediately.

The smell is so gross. It literally smells like burnt toast and tuna fish. I did not notice any difference in my complexion using this. I'm going back to Drmtlgy CE+F. Pros:I have sensitive skin and it did not irritate me at all so that's a plus. This owns just not for me (love the hanskin essence and their glycolic toner though)
Annie from Dallas, TX
My skin drinks this serum up and absorbs it so quickly (which I always take as a sign that my skin really needed a product when it does that!). It leaves my face feeling soft, smooth, and bright. I love it!
VH from Austin, TX
I've been using this for the past couple weeks and my skin feels and looks great! I have pretty sensitive skin and this serum has not been irritating at all. I usually use it in my morning routine and my skin always looks bright and clean. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a vitamin C serum to add to their routine.

Used the product for over two weeks. Really liked it, it was light and refreshing on the skin. No breakouts at all. Great alternative to the Vitamin C serum I use. There was an odd smell however.
Hannah from Los Angeles, CA
I use this serum after toner, and it has a much watery consistently than the other serums I've used, but it really works! I have less redness in my cheeks and it feels like I'm giving proper treatment to my face. If I were to describe the smell, it would be like a sugary soy sauce. I use the serum only at night for that reason, so it doesn't bother me.
