Peels

Its capsulated form is great in preserving its active ingredient. It stings a little (but not burn) each time i use it. So i assume it's doing its job BUT it peels…even on dried cleansed skin. I tried waiting a couple of min before putting on moisturizer but still peeled. It even peeled a little while appIying the serum itself…not sure how much my skin actually obsorbed.

so aside from it smelling like cheese, after using this for a week or two, I noticed a difference. I started wearing no makeup and got several compliments that my skin looks glowy and hydrated. I use multiple products on top of this, but this gave my skin an extra kick. I struggle with cystic, hormonal acne, oily and sensitive skin-- had 0 problems.

I really wish Pixi hadn't discontinued the Vitamin-C Balm. That tubed lasted and felt amazing, especially since I combined it with the Vitamin-C Lotion. My skin looked great with that combo when I woke up in the morning. But I don't care much for these capsules. I feel for what they cost, I don't get much in return as I need to use several of them for my face, neck and chest areas. I ran out within a week and half. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing again.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

This product checked everything for me- capaule form to preserve the integrity of the vitamin C, added vitamin E, limited ingredient list, affordable. I am truly amazed, it is so potent it actually stings if i dont keep up with using it regularly. Vitamin C degrades with air and the sun- so you need to wear spf when wearing. However, i only use vitamin C at night. This product does seem like it would pill under makeup and excessive skin care routines. I only use mine at night and with a neutral moisturizer and oil. Its like a treatment tbh- I absolutely love it.
