Lightweight oil with a stronger scent than I expected

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I love vanilla scents, so I was really excited to try this. I've used body oils before, and some of them either feel too greasy or don't really have much of a scent. This one surprised me in a good way. The first thing I noticed was... how lightweight it felt. I thought it was going to sit on top of my skin, but it soaked in really fast. My skin felt really soft after using it, and I didn't have that greasy feeling where you don't want to get dressed right away. It absorbed quickly and just left my skin feeling moisturized. The scent was actually stronger than I expected. I saw some other reviews saying it was really light, but that wasn't my experience at all. I could smell it right after I put it on, and I kept catching the scent throughout the day. I also liked that the vanilla didn't smell fake or overly sweet. Sometimes vanilla products remind me of cake or frosting, but this one didn't. It smells warm and cozy and actually reminds me of being in a cabin. It feels more like a perfume than a dessert, which I really liked. I think it works really well if you already enjoy vanilla fragrances. I tried wearing it by itself and also under a couple of my vanilla perfumes. I actually liked both. On its own, the scent lasted longer than I thought it would. When I layered it with perfume, I felt like my perfume lasted longer too. I also noticed that my skin stayed moisturized throughout the day instead of feeling dry again a few hours later. It gave my skin a nice healthy glow without looking oily. My skin also had no reaction to it, which is always a plus. The bottle is also easy to use. I didn't need very much product each time, so I think it will last a while. The pump worked well and didn't make a mess, which I always appreciate with body oils. I also liked that it wasn't messy to apply, and since it absorbed so quickly I didn't have to wait before getting dressed. One thing I kept thinking while using this was that I wish this scent came in even more products. I would absolutely buy a matching body lotion because I think it would pair perfectly with the oil and help the scent last even longer. I would also love to see it made into a body essence. Since this oil is already so lightweight and absorbs quickly, I think that type of product would work really well too. The scent is one I could see myself using year-round, and I think having a few different options in the same fragrance would make it even better. I also think this would make a really nice gift for someone who loves vanilla scents because the fragrance feels warm and comforting without being overwhelming. Overall, I really enjoyed this body oil. It made my skin feel soft without feeling greasy, and the scent lasted much longer than I expected. Even though I received it as a free sample, these are my honest thoughts after using it for several days. I would recommend it to anyone who likes warm vanilla scents and wants a body oil that actually has a noticeable fragrance. I could definitely see myself buying this once I finish the bottle because I enjoyed using it that much. If you've been looking for a lightweight body oil that hydrates well and leaves a lasting scent, I think this one is worth trying. It ended up being one of my favorite vanilla body products I've tried in a while.
