The box was vague with directions on how to use the product. Differing information said your lips should look instantly plump with moisture, however also "4 weeks for fuller looking lips". This plumping lip treatment isn't plumping in the common way you may be imagining…it doesn't cause irritation, redness, tingling or burning. It's a natural plump as a result of hydration. It leaves my lips feeling hydrated and smooth. It's clear and has a pleasant light vanilla scent/taste. Slightly tacky but not unpleasant.

Such a great product. Honestly, I didn't notice the annoying plumping or stinging sensation that the extra plumping products provide, but I mean that as a compliment. I've been loving the neutrogena collagen bank lip plumping treatment. It feels moisturizing and gives your lips a nice healthy looking shine. The Aplicator easily glides on your lips and dispenses the perfect amount of product. I also like that the formula contains peptides and Hyaluronic Acid for extra hydration. Overall if you want a lip treatment the helps with hydration, shine and a subtle lip plumping effect this is it.

I have noticed that my lips always feel dry and many lip products either feel too glossy or disappear quickly. This didn't have an overly sticky feeling and didn't disappear right away. The smell is a bit like vanilla marshmallow vs vanilla. I don't mind but it does have a more 2000s vanillas vibe. I like the wide applicator.
