L’Oréal does not use any ingredient from rare or endangered animal species, nor any ingredient of porcine, bovine or ovine origin; except lanolin (which is taken from live sheep). This is THE moisturizer. It wears well under my makeup and doesn't take too long to dry and absorb into skin. Even on no makeup days my skin feels glowy and moisturized. The price is the only thing that hurts, but I say its worth it because a little goes a long way.
Honest review from a gal in her 30's
When I turned 30 I struggled to find a skincare routine that worked with my maturing skin like the products that WERE my holy grails in my twenties. I've started to feel fairly self conscious about wrinkles in my smile lines and one across my forehead because nothing helped them while also not causing issues elsewhere. Then this stuff arrived after I purchased it half off during March beauty steals, and slapped it on my face like Ive done so many times before and went to bed - it didnt feel sticky, or heavy, but also doesnt seem like a thick enough product to really penetrate, you know? But, hey. Id give it a go. Ladies, I kid you not, I stared at my forehead for a good two minutes the next morning. Its been almost a week, and im still staring at it. The lines have dramatically softened, and im starting to think that maybe Ive found my 30's moisturizer. This stuff is some type of sorcery.

I love kielhs ultra facial line specifically reg face wash and this moisturizer. It is basic but that's why i love it. I can layer it under or over anything and i know its not going to clash, irritate or pill. It absorbs well. I have combination skin that runs a little dry in the winter and a oily in peak summer and it works great all year long. I do have to layer with something a bit more hydrating when its really dry and cold. I buy the refill size, i like it better than the big jar. Not a fan of that tub packaging.
Good for acne-prone skin!
I was dealing with really bad acne, but I recently started seeing a dermatologist. All the acne treatments made my skin very dry. This moisturizer has saved me from flaky skin and hasn't caused my hormonal acne to come back. I definitely recommend it!
