I've tried over 50 sunscreens in my lifetime, and this one is my go to so far! I love the pleasing scent. It's a physical sunscreen with zinc (which are the most effective ones) that doesn't feel like the usual heaviness of a physical sunscreen. My skin has definitely brightened since using it consistently. It's replaced tatcha and la roche posay as my new fave! It also doesn't irritate my eczema at all

I can't get over the scent of this sunscreen—it's fantastic! The packaging is sleek and stylish, and I love how it fits in aesthetically with my wardrobe (I'm a guy and wear a lot of blue). It's perfect for tennis matches or a nice hike outdoors.

Want the old formulation back

My whole family has been using this face cream for more than a decade. The new formulation produced this year is not anywhere near as strong as the former one. Please bring the old formulation which had Titanium dioxide, Zinc oxide, as well as chemical filters back to the marker. Very dissapointed in the new version.

Ive been using the original Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector Cream for 10+ years. Needless to say, it was my favorite. I used it everyday. It was out of stock everywhere and now they have updated the formula. I have to say- it's definitely worse. First off, I think it's worth noting for everyone that the original formula has always given somewhat of a white cast - if you want a sunscreen with absolutely no white cast please look elsewhere for a sunscreen from Shiseido. There are plenty that don't do that (lotion mineral etc etc). I always liked that it gave a bit of a white cast and I know there are others who do as well (it was NOT intensely white but there was somewhat of a cast given its zinc oxide 19%). With that said, this new formulation feels much worse. It's hard to blend. When it goes on your skin you really have to work it in. It feels very tacky whereas the old formulation was really nice and creamy, would blend right in. I like to put my sunscreen on thick, and this makes me look like a grease ball. After 10 years, I'll have to try to find another sunscreen :(
