Does this go on white?
- Asked by Katie Lady
- Official Answer By Tatcha - Brand EngageThe Silk Sunscreen is made with a sheer tint and Next-Gen Zinc Oxide, a high-transparency mineral filter that blends in more easily to minimize any white cast. Still, we recognize mineral filters have their limitations, and recommend finishing with the foundation and/or bronzer of your choice. Was this answer helpful to you

Great product despite peeling bottle
I love this moisturizer because it's so lightweight moisturizing and doesn't leave any residue even though it's SPF 50 My only complaint the same as others is that it would be great if Tatcha could figure out a better package so the bottle doesn't peel onto your fingers as you're trying to apply the...

Terrible packaging
The formula is lovely it isn't leaving any white cast and also doesn't make my complexion darker with the small tint - I'm very pale so I usually avoid most colored sunscreen but had no issue with this one It doesn't dry my skin and leaves a bit of a glow just a tiny bit it looks and feels great on ...

Didn't enjoy, wouldn't recommend
This sunscreen is very thin and feels weightless, but it's hard to blend in and it's almost like you didn't apply anything at all. It's to the point that I'm concerned I didn't have enough sun protection. I ended up returning it.
I heard great things, but it's meh
I was feally excited to try this because I heard such great things about Tatcha, but it falls flat for me. It makes my face feel really dry and I feel like I have to use so much of it at a time. I will finish the bottle, but will not repurchase.
Subpar for the price
I have tried an array of sunscreens and this is not my favorite. For the price, this is not worth it IMO. The main issue is that it is hard to spread around your face, I'm used to adding sunscreen on with my fingers but I have to use a face brush.
Absolutely Not.
I like Tatcha a lot and really thought this product was going to work well for me. I have dehydrated combination skin. Tzone can get oily, periorbital/mouth area/lower face leans on the drier side. I dont have acne but I AM prone to getting clogged pores if I use heavy, cheap skincare. But generally speaking, depending on my skin's needs, whatever I use typically never breaks me out. That was all until I started using this stuff. After almost a week of daily use, I started breaking for out for the first time in a LONG time. I gaslighted myself into believing that it was just from me eating too many carbs, but no, it was from this sunscreen. It is way too much of a rich, greasy, heavy, formula and it doesnt absorb well at all. It leaves a thick oily pink hue/film. Its so rich that if you use any skincare underneath it, you look like you "slugged" with diaper cream. I use the proper amount of sunscreen for my face which is three solid finger lengths. It is like rubbing in motor oil. It applies like foundation and settles into eye creases in smile lines, never sets. Most importantly, this congested my pores and gave me texture so bad. In the 24 hours of stopping use, my skin is already improving and flattening out. I wouldnt never recommend this to anyone, its awful.
Oily skin girl here!
I love this sunscreen! I was a bit skeptical since I'm oily but it does wonders! It doesn't leave a white cast like regular sunscreen and didn't make me feel greasy. I haven't worn it under makeup yet but I do love it by itself! I would definitely buy this again in the future.
