Half of it is NOT EYE SAFE
I purchased the I KNOW THAT'S BRIGHT palette: Half of the pigments are actually NOT SAFE FOR YOUR EYELIDS, but for use in your face=temples+cheekbones. I purchased the I Know That's Bright palette and used it on my eyes before seeing these reviews and the comments from the NYX rep. The colors were great and I was surprised by this new information so I did some research. This is the official reason for "face only" for some colors: " Face pigments in makeup palettes carry "not for use on eyes" warnings primarily to comply with strict FDA regulations on color additives.FDA Regulations and StainingApproval Status: The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classifies certain bright red, pink, and purple color additives as safe for the face and body, but has not officially approved them for use in the immediate eye area.Skin Staining: Many of these vibrant pigments can temporarily stain the skin or eyelids. While staining is harmless, the FDA often restricts or does not approve ingredients if they cause lingering discoloration." Bottom line: NYX would get in serious trouble from the FDA by labeling it's OK to use these colors on your eyes. I will be using the colors on my eyes because they looking for perform great on lids, MUA use these colors on their eyes, and I'm not concerned about temporary stating and I wear a base anyway. Now you can make an informed decision about what works for you personally because the vague explanation from the NYX rep isn't sufficiently explanatory
Read description closely
I guess I should have paid more attention to the description, but the palette is half eye shadow/half "face pigment". The only colors meant for eyes are the yellows greens and blues.
Second time buying this palette
I have used it for all occasions: both casual & special events. The palette is amazing. It all coordinates beautifully. I have green eyes so I'm very particular with using natural colors. Especially great for a natural look!
