I had weightloss surgery in October 2016 (today is January 26, 2018) and ever since my hair has thinned out quite a bit. I have wavy/curly, semi-course hair that used to be thick but now it has thinned out A LOT. I flat iron/straighten my hair and usually the day after my hair is very flat and oily when I wake up. This is a pain on mornings I wake up late and don't have time to shower. I went into Ulta in Richmond, TX and asked one of the hair stylists there what she would recommend as a volumizing product due to how thin my hair has gotten since surgery and she immediately directed me to this product. The biggest pro for Triple Sec is that it is used on dry hair so you can control how much, or little, you apply and where. It also didn't make my hair greasy or weigh it down like a lot of the other products, which require damp/wet hair application, do. One of the cons for me, and likely because of how damaged my hair is from flat ironing it, is that it's "texturing" feature accentuated my split/damaged ends and fly-aways so I had to apply some of my Wella oil to my ends to smooth them out some (I am also past due for a trim). I will say, however, it definitely did the job of making my hair look freshly washed, provided good lift at my roots and made my hair smell very clean. I also didn't need to re-apply throughout the day and it doesn't feel like hair spray; it is very soft and didn't leave a sticky residue. **If you are sensitive to perfume smells/strong scents, I would not recommend this product... it has a very strong scent that lasts all day (I personally love it though)**
I'm not sure what the rave is all about with this product but it just didn't work for me at all. It made my hair extremely greasy (despite the fact it's marketed to be used as a 'dry shampoo' of sorts) and I did not feel any added texture or volume. Also I can't believe some people buy this just for the smell because it is probably the worst part of the whole product! So strong and smells like fumes! Had to hold my breath the whole time.
TLDR; Made hair greasy, smelled horrible, super expensive. I gave it three tries and will be returning the product.

Love the product but too pricey!

Not sure what what complaints in greasy is about, but you're not to spray it close, long sprays in one section at a time. Spray in short bursts throughout sectionS of hair you want volume. I lift my hair is the sections I want lifted and spritz lightly. Sometimes I turn my down and flip my hair over and spritz as well, flip it back over and do a few more short spritz. It has a light hold, good enough for volume but can still run fingers through and give movements. Other brands are more like hairspray. My hairstyle lasts until the next day or even two. I wash my hair once/twice a week because it's blonde processed, especially in the summer I'm in the sun more causing the ends to be dry. But using this makes my hair look freshly washed for days with the oil absorbance. To the ones complaining about the smell, must be ones that are sensitive to scents or rarely wears perfume. I'm in love with perfumes and wear it daily, I found the Blanc scent to be like hair perfume. I smell it throughout the day and for a few days until I even wash my hair. I am obsessed with this product.

This spray left my hair hard and very dry. It weighed my hair down and made it look flat. This stuff is worse than extreme hold hair spray. Don't waste your money on this junk.

The product does exactly what it says. I spray a little through out my hair and it makes my hair thicker looking

The spray is very forceful

It's a hairspray that holds the curl, but I don't really care for the smell.

I love this product on my fine hair, but man, the 1.6oz size is good for maybe 4 uses. Hard to justify the price.

This is the one product that I haven't found anything I like better. It adds volume and texture for the "beachy" style and curls. My hair is fine and I struggle with volume and my curls/waves lasting and this is the only product that has been able to help me with that. It also smells amazing!

This product is horrible. The smell was so strong, it instantly gave me a headache to the point where I had to wash my hair again (painful!) and I still didn't feel like it was gone. Do not buy this product if you have even the slightest sensitivity to any smell.

Perfect for fine hair

it makes my hair feel like hay - my hair is color treated with lightened ends however I am on top of my hair care game - deep conditioning, clarifying, etc. i have never experienced such a dryness in my hair from a texturizing product. the only plus is that the volume is nice, but it makes it so dry.

I have fine hair that's naturally curly. I tried this once on the ends on a day where my curls weren't as bouncy as I wanted them to be, and the ends shriveled up like they'd been exposed to flames. I had to trim my ends. My guess is, this would be OK on thick, straight hair, but don't use it if you have fine hair with any natural texture

Gave my hair a waxy texture and grease after the first day.. not fond of the smell either. And the bottle was tiny.

Use it after I wash hair

I put my hair in self-grip rollers after blow drying and then I spray this stuff at my roots. I leave the rollers in as long as I can (lol) and when I take them out this product gifts me amazing lift and volume.

I have very flat lifeless hair. I got this a sample and I really like it. This product made it look clean and gave it some volume which I can never get without it. I also LOVE the smell. I know some people complained but I like the way it Makes my hair smell.

Smells great not overpowering and does a great job
KatherineS from Joshua Tree
I have very fine hair, fairly lifeless. I'd hoped this would work as well as the Oribe spray but Drybar is very poor by comparison. Sticky and my hair was just as flat after. I liked the smell but that's about it!
Steph from Ohio
This gave my limp hair some volume but the smell is really hard to get past . You basically smell like a strong tanning lotion all day.
Rachel from Garden City, KS
This is the best product I've used to give my hair volume at the roots without leaving a white residue. It also smells delicious and the scent lasts all day. I had a coworker tell me that I smelled so good after I was on her office for a minute. Downside is that it's very expensive and the bottle is quite small.
Betty T from Montana
Threw it out after one use.
T. Smith from OK
The scent is very strong and lingers for a long time, I maybe got about a dozen uses out of this spray I usually do loose curls/waves and like to add some texture and volume and I did not see any noticeable change after using this product
