Thoroughly wet hair from roots to ends with lukewarm water. Lather a quarter size amount of shampoo in hands. Work shampoo into roots and anywhere hair touches the scalp. Rinse shampoo. Squeeze out excess moisture before applying conditioner.
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse well with water.

I have fine, straight, oily, frizzy, damaged (from coloring and using heat styling tools over the years) hair type. Greasy right out of the shower
I have fine haircand used this product for 3 years. Stopped after my refill started making my hair look greasy right out of the shower. My borther even used it when my family was visiting and his hair looked dark and dirty at breakfest. Whatever reformual happened undo!
The smell

If you have read any of the reviews about the smell they're correct. Powerful perfume smell had to wash and condition with two different products and still smelled like my grandma, and I'm 51. Thankful I didn't waste my money on the full size bottles
Good for specific routines
I have androgenic alopecia and recovering from nutritional deficiencies that cause hair loss, so im super picky about my shampoo and conditioner. I had been using the l'anza thickening shampoo and conditioner before this, so my cons might be from being used to SLS free shampoo for so long. I do agree my hair does tangle more in comparison to SLS free shampoos, but i use much less shampoo in comparison with ouai. I find that if you have thin, fine hair prone to breakage the secret with this product is everyday use! The longer i go inbetween washes the more tangled my hair gets and the more conditioner and leave in conditioner I need to use. However, my hair has felt fuller and stronger on a strand level with this set. The smell does definitely smell like old ladies but i personally don't mind it and nobody around me says my hair smells strong, and i have a strong nose. There definitely is better for cheaper out there but I think this is a decent pick if you aren't a fan of SLS free shampooa for fine hair.
Going back to detox shampoo
It was worth a try, but longterm use was not great for my hair. My hair is thinner now and the shampoo is relatively heavy, my hair was flat.
Disappointed
This shampoo/conditioner has to be the worst I've ever tried. It made my fine hair limp and lifeless. Trying to style it was impossible, even with the help of my usual styling products. The potent smell lingers forever. Would not recommend if you have fine hair and want body/volume.
