For Beginners
I am a 77 year old male, white, Irish heritage. I grew up in Florida, with little regard for sunscreen protection. Rough scaly skin was my norm. I began having melanoma problems 35 years ago, and I have been seeing a dermatologist regularly since then. I live in California now, and use SPF 40 su...

Defective pump sold with every single bottle
I love this product but the defective pump they sell this product with forces you to waste at least 1/4 of the product. For the price I paid for one bottle, you would think this company could provide a pump that would actually work with the thickness of the lotion. I tried to attach a picture that...

you have to cut open the bottle to get the last few ounces
I wish it was double the size and more affordable. However, this lotion truly does not have a fragrance which I love. It's hydrating and not sticky. I've tried so many lotion brands and other lotions from this company and this is my favorite. It has to be the AP+Max Triple Repair Cream. I've tried their other lotion products and this is the best one. The pump and bottle kind of sucks. You have to cut open the bottle if you want to use up the last 1/6 of the lotion. It's very thick and the straw doesn't reach to the bottom. Shea Butter is one of the main ingredients. It was flagged as a potentially comedogenic ingredient in a pore-clogging ingredient checker so just beware. I don't put it on my face for that reason. Other people in my family use it on their face without any problems.
This Caused Contact Dermatitis
I bought this moisturizer fully trusting its ingredients and hoping it could keep my skin from drying out in the winter. While using it for 60 days, I noticed horrendous skin texture, splotches of red inflammation, and rashes along my jaw and around my nose that would itch to no end. I attributed these to being allergic to something in my environment, but decided to start cutting down my skincare products to isolate a cause. Within 24-48 hours of stopping use of this cream and reverting to my Korean skincare, my skin irritations started to subside. I've currently been off of it for almost a week now and am slowly seeing improvements to my skin, but it'll be a while before I can truly heal the amount of damage this moisturizer did to my face. Please don't blindly trust a well-known brand like I did, I certainly (painfully) learned my lesson.
5-Star Lotion, 1-Star Packaging
I've been applying lotions, creams, and body butters straight out of the shower for 25+ years, so I know my moisturizers. This lotion has been in steady rotation for over a year now. Moisturizing is non-negotiable for me, and this long lasting cream provides deep hydration, softens the skin beautifully, and gives a healthy glow. I love that it works well on both body and face. My only issue is the packaging. This is a dense cream, not a thin lotion, and the bottle makes it difficult to dispense once you're about 1/3 of the way through. I end up cutting it open and transferring it to a jar every single time. La Roche-Posay, please consider repackaging this in a jar!
LOVE THIS
just bought my second bottle. my daughter i use this everyday. it gives my skin a nice shine and great hydration without being sticky.
Super thick lotion
Love this lotion! It does everything it says it does...but the pump has a hard time dispensing how thick it is. I usually had to remove the pump.
