- Wear included gloves and cover clothing. Start with dry, un-shampooed and detangled hair. Start at the crown of the head and work in small sections. Finish your roots last, as they tend to lift faster.
- Using a hair applicator brush, fully saturate each section, working the bleach down the hair. Leave the roots for the last step, as they will lift quicker.
- After all sections are fully saturated go back and apply bleach to your roots* and any missed spots. *If you are only bleaching your roots, do not apply over previously bleached hair. Overlapping could cause excessive damage to hair.
- Wait 35-45 min paying close attention to the condition of your hair while processing. Check every 10 min. To check the process, wipe excess product from a small of piece of hair using your gloved hand. If the hair is not lightened enough, leave mixture on longer. DO NOT leave on for more than 45 minutes!
- Rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water, ensuring that all product is washed out.
- Shampoo and deep condition.
Pre-caution: Read all directions and warnings before application. Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before each use of Totally Clean Bleach, as allergies can develop suddenly, even though you have previously used this product or similar products from other brands in the past.

I think the only pro to this bleach is it doesn't have the usual strong smell. Its very difficult to get the product out of the containers they're in and this stuff fried my hair. I've never had this kind of reaction to bleach ever. I had it on for maybe 5 minutes and my hair became SUPER HOT. Felt like my hair was swelling. I rinsed it out after I noticed it started "weeping/sweating". It started dripping everywhere. If I would've left it on any longer, my hair would've probably all fell off. Do not buy.

Is there normally a seal or something on the products inside of the box? The box looked visibly damaged and there was a glop of product on the inside of the box lid. The tube also didn't look full.
