Amazing heat protectant and styling spray
I received this product as part of a testing program, and this is my honest review. I've been using the Kenra Thermal Styling Spray for a 5 days now, and I'm genuinely impressed. It's one of those products that actually works the way it says it does. The spray protects my hair from heat really well, and I can feel the difference - my hair doesn't get dry or damaged after styling. I also like that it gives a firm hold without making my hair look stiff or crunchy. My curls stay in place but still look soft and natural. The spray feels very lightweight, doesn't make my hair greasy, and leaves no sticky residue. It's super easy to use: I spray it on each section before curling or straightening, wait a few seconds, and then style. The product activates with heat, and my hair becomes smoother and shinier as I go. The scent is also pleasant and not overwhelming. Overall, this spray makes heat styling much safer and more effective for my hair. Great protection, great hold, and a beautiful finish. I truly recommend it if you use hot tools often.
It's too sticky
Had high hopes for this. It went on very sticky abd left my hair stiff. I have 4C hair and it made it it drier than ever. After using it, my hair had no bounce and was stiff. Plus my hands were very sticky and it got everywhere. The nozzle also was terrible. The product had a hard time coming out
Why?
I have been using this spray for years. I loved it. I bought a bottle in October - it worked poorly, so thinking i got a bad bottle, I returned for another bottle. Well, I'm guessing there is a new formula. It is now crap- no hold at all. Used it before heat styling, and it had a decent amount of hold for the curl or straightening. Not anymore. It does zero - not even a little hold. What a waste of money for this product, waste of time spent styling … sadly a wonderful product updated to be a bottle of junk. Why? Just sad & disappointing.
Don't like the formula
The nozzle spray was awful, so I transferred the product into a different bottle. Unfortunately, the formula does not work for my hair. It feels like residue and is hard to work with when styling.
The revised formula is not effective without a firm hold!!
Hair Type Straight Hair
The revised formula has ZERO hold! This is the worst styling spray! I have been using this thermal spray for years and now I had to find something else! I'm so disappointed!
