I currently get just my roots highlighted more of a platinum blonde. Will this product match and be a good choice to use for a lower budget hair treatment?
- Asked by momma7
- Official Answer By ClairolThat would depend on the base color of your natural hair. If your hair is medium brown, you will want to use the Nice N' Easy Hi Lift in shade SB2 ( Summer Blonde)Was this answer helpful to you

My natural color is light brown and I have had my hair lightened by my hairdresser to blonde for several years. I am now wanting to go back closer to my natural color. (Also, I am starting to see grey.) Do I need to grow my hair out in order to change back to my natural color or is there a permanent hair color product that can help to do this quicker without using a "rinse".
- Asked by Mary
- Official Answer By ClairolYou will not need to grow your hair out but you should use a permanent color as it will put pigment back onto the strands of your hair that have been removed by the bleach. Was this answer helpful to you

Hi. I read the reviews and purchased the color 4 dark brown. I am not totally gray. I used it and it did not cover the gray I had. Partially. But it's obvious it didn't cover most especially on the part line. Why is this when you state total coverage of gray?
- Asked by Linda
- Official Answer By ClairolThank you for your question. Perfect 10 does cover grey when used at directed. There are some instances where the effect of the coverage would be lessened, such as hair being damp prior to application or styling product residue not allow the color to fully absorb. Was this answer helpful to you

I have thick hair that is to the middle of my back. I dyed it purple and blue recently. Will there be uneven color and Will one box cover it all?
- Asked by busy bee
- Official Answer By ClairolThank you for your question. One box should be sufficient for the length and thickness of your hair. We recommend combing the product through your hair from root to tip to ensure that the coverage is even. Was this answer helpful to you

Awesome cover up!
This product is amazing! I use the Clairol Root Touch up permanent color on a regular basis. My hair has gotten thinner as I've gotten older. This product is great for covering up thin areas and gray roots. It doesn't stain your scalp like other similar products. The brush is a good quality brus...

What happened?
I've been using this product for years and have absolutely loved it. Today, when I tried to do my roots, I noticed the color was way off. Fortunately, I had an old box of Light Blonde, so I used that with the usual wonderful result. But look at the photo below. I was too afraid to use the new one th...

Useless product, doesn't cover gray

Ulta was out of my normal Madison Reed root touch up color, so I bought this one instead based on the reviews. I bought med brown, which is what I use in the MR color (which covers great). This Clairol color barely covered anything. It didn't do much more than slightly tone down the gray, but its still pretty visible. I even left it on for an extra 5 mins (25 min total) and I cannot see this lasting much more than a few days before I need to color again. The $7 L'Oreal root touch up from the grocery store is vastly superior to this useless product. I should have just bought that when Utla was out of MR. If you have more than maybe 4 gray hairs, do no waste your time or money or you will have to redo your roots in less than a week after using this.
Yes, I've been using it for years!

I use the Light Auburn 6R. I love it and I get a lot of compliments on it!
Hair color touch up
Purchased this product for the first time and I would definitely purchase this again
Do not buy! Glitter in powder.
This root cover up has glitter in it.. not ideal unless you are trying to cover up your grays AND sparkle lol
I would buy this product again

Great for covering greys and in between/ extending salon visits. It is easy to apply and looks more natural than roots that are sprayed.
