- Q
I used to use 210 BUF N for when I did not use self tanner and 320 BIS W for when I would use self tanner. What would my new shades be with the new changes?
- Asked by Lauren
- Official Answer By Lancome - BEHello! If you wore shades 210N and 320W in the previous formulation of our Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation, we recommend trying shades 105W, 205C, 305N, and 335W in the new formula. - Q
I use 230W, but I need a shade darker (or 2 shades darker) during the summer. Which should I use?
- Asked by Nat
- Official Answer By Lancome - BEHello there! Since you use shade 230W and need a darker shade for summer, physically testing shades or using a virtual try-on tool (if available on the product page) would be the most accurate way to find your ideal match. This allows you to consider lighting and undertones for the best result. Additionally, reading online reviews from others with similar skin tones discussing their shade matches could provide helpful insights. Was this answer helpful to you

24 hour foundation
I love Lancome products. Especially the foundation, powder & concelor. But since they've got a new color shades my 24 hour tint foundation is too dark. My friends & family tell me that my make up is looking too dark. What have I done I was wearing 540 in liquid foundation in the old color shade whic...

Terrible New Formula For Long Time Customers
So disappointed with the new formula. I've worn the original formula for over a decade, it was the best coverage. I had high hopes for the new formula, unfortunately after multiple days of wearing it I can say it's a huge disappointment and now after being a loyal Lancome customer I will be looking ...

Love the light texture
Loving this as a really light full coverage foundation for winter. The consistency is thin so you need to apply quickly but it dries to a very natural skin like finish. Not too matte not too satiny.

Great foundation
This was a great shade match for me. I love how easily it comes out of the packaging. A little goes a long way. It is very easy to blend and covers well as well as still being buildable. Lasted all day without leaving any residue or wiping off. Still easy to remove.

Full-coverage, SPF 25, but cakes and may cause breakouts.
I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The sleek glass packaging gives this foundation a luxurious feel, and I love that it includes SPF 25. The scent is different from the usual Lancôme fragrance—subtle and not overpowering, and once it dries down, you don't notice it. This is definitely a full-coverage foundation, and while I might reach for it on days I want that level of coverage, it's not my everyday go-to. Unfortunately, I did experience some breakouts while wearing it, though my skin has been unpredictable lately, so I'm not sure if this was the cause. The longevity wasn't the best, as it tended to cake up in my T-zone, no matter how much I blended. The shade I received is more of my summer color, but I made it work, and I do appreciate the decent shade range. Overall, it's not the worst foundation I've tried, but also not the best—I prefer medium coverage these days, so I don't think I'd repurchase. However, I do like the Teint Idole concealer, so that's a win!

Nice buildable coverage
I did receive this product in exchange of my honest review. Pros: I do like that the foundation is buildable. If I apply a single layer, I feel the foundation gives me a natural look. But the foundation does also layer well. Adding an additional layer in areas that I need does give more of a full coverage look with a natural matte finish that looks like skin. The shade blended well with my skin. Cons: even after applying setting powder and spray, I felt like the foundation started to settle into my pores and fine lines after about 8 hours.

Perfect match
It's the first time I've used Lancôme TEINT IDOLE ULTRA WEAR SPF 25. The pros are that the color I chose 355N is surprisingly suitable for my skin tone. It has a uniform and long-lasting coverage, it covers imperfections, and it also has sunscreen broad spectrum dpf 25. The cons are that the texture is very thick and feels a bit pasty, on dry skin like mine you have to prepare your face with a good moisturizer to avoid a mask effect. Unfortunately I can't keep using it because emphasis wrinkles even if I use a moisturizer first that makes me feel sad.
