Step 1: For best results, ensure your skin is clean, exfoliated and free of any moisturizers.
Step 2: Pump Bondi Sands Technocolor Self Tanning Foam liberally onto an application mitt and apply to body using long, sweeping motions.
Step 3: After 1 hour, shower with warm water and gently pat skin dry. For best results, leave on skin for a minimum of 3 hours.
Precautions: Store below 86 degrees F.

Mixed bag

Subtle glow
I am a pale girlie, so I used the Sapphire shade. It gives a perfect, realistic summer glow that isnt orangey! It certainly isn't the same color payoff as the traditional Bondi light/medium formula, but I think it suits my natural coloring better. As for the "express" - the color is better if you wait overnight. The first time I waited 4 hours, and the results were so-so. Developing overnight gave the best color. For me, it lasts about 5 days, and has a natural, even fade.
Sapphire
Pale Irish skin here, super pink undertone but yellow overtone. I tan easily but when I'm pale, its pale. This product transfers easily but with a thorough application after exfolitaing and moisturizing ankles, knees, elbows and wrists I let it sit for 6 hours (during the day) and wash off before bed. Woke up with a flawless even natural glow. I couldnt be happier, this isnt the darkest but its a perfect healthy glow for pale pink skins.
It works to build a healthy, natural color!
People who are dragging this product have to be using it incorrectly or haven't figured out how to make it work for them. It gives me a really lovely, warm natural glow--it's not a superdeep bronze because this product isn't intended to do that; the whole reason why it offers multiple shades is because it does not give a one-shade-fits-all "dark" look--it gives you a back-from-vacation, suntanned warmth. "Super-dark" is just the wrong outcome to expect with this product (if that's what you're looking for, go get some LovingTan). The Technocolor Face Serum is for self-tanners who want a goof-proof face product. I do think it's made with that kind of person in mind--someone who's scared they're going to turn orange--because I did need to apply this product twice to see a dramatic result. When I applied it the first time (to COMPLETELY clean, bare skin as instructed!), I didn't see much difference; I washed my face for the night and reapplied it, and when I woke up the next morning my face was GORGEOUS. Highly recommend. I have fair-light skin that tans pretty easily, and I got the emerald and it looks great--noticeably tan, but not at all orange. I think the sapphire would go a little ashy on me, and I think I could use the magenta without issue.
Cannot detect color
I used the sapphire product for cool, light tones. Maybe that was my mistake. I'm learning that I lean olive even though I am light. Don't judge which color to buy based off depth of tan in the after pictures. Go with what you know about your skin tone. Sapphire is probably for very very fair people who lean yellow and it won't show up on anyone else. I should have known based on my undereye concealer, which is peachy. Sapphire probably canceled out too much orange and nothing developed on my face, twice. I will try the emerald next time.
Looks natural
I'm glad I found this! Definitely looks natural with my skin undertone. I will say that it's not an "express" type tan. I kept on for 1.5hours, washed and noticed no difference. But, the next day I had a very natural not super dark tan! Very sticky!
