Works Well

ok, let me first say that I didn't want to like this stuff! HOWEVER,,,it does work nicely. I have had a dry flaky scalp for 20 years and this stuff cures it in one wash. I hated the smell in the bottle and in the shower,,,HOWEVER the smell changes once your hair dries and it does smell great duri...

Hair loss and scalp acne

It was validating (yet disturbing) to discover others experienced the same problem with this shampoo. I started with the Lavender Mint, because I loved it when my salon used it on me. My hair started falling out, but as I was changing thyroid meds at the time, I did not associate it with the shampoo...

Recent Change to Cheaper Formula

I've been a fan of this conditioner for decades and it was one of my favorites! Unfortunately when I picked up a new bottle last week, I noticed the ingredients list was signifcantly shorter than my last bottle. Paul Mitchell has significantly cut down the quality of ingredients (no more Tea Tree Leaf Oil, just Tea Tree Leaf Water; and no more aloe, jojoba, rosemary, chamomile, ginger, seaweed, etc.). This is not the same product it used to be and it is now selling for a higher price, save your money and switch :(

Changed formula.

I ran out some time ago and finally bought a new one. As soon as I pumped some shampoo onto my palms I knew something was off. The shampoo snelled and even felt different. It just wasn't the same. Had I known the formula had changed and it would smell the way it does now I wouldn't have purchased it. Don't think I ever will again. Super sad that its not the same as it once was.

Q
Why is Turpentine a listed ingredient???
Asked by Jay
Official Answer By Paul Mitchell - Brand Engage
Our products are all reviewed by a safety assessor as we use safe and effective ingredients; the surfactants are appropriate for the intended performance of a given product; turpentine oil has always been in the Tea Tree fragrance at very low levels as it is a naturally occurring fragrance component that provides a fresh balsamic warm pine note and the colorants also used at very low levels give the product its appealing soft green appearance. Was this answer helpful to you
