Can I use the Dyson Supersonic™ Travel when traveling internationally?

Yes, with universal voltage technology and its lightweight design, the Supersonic™ Travel is the ideal blow dryer for international travel. A travel plug adaptor may be needed depending on the destination.  
 
To make sure your product works effectively wherever you travel, we recommend using an adapter rated to 1300W across the full voltage range (100-240.) In addition, single country-to-country adapters are recommended vs universal adapters.

Does the Dyson Supersonic™ Travel offer the same fast drying performance as the fullsize Dyson Supersonic™?

Designed as a compact, travel ready counterpart to the original Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer, it features reduced airflow engineered for portability, but still with a powerful digital motor and Air Multiplier™ technology to create a high-pressure, high-velocity jet of air for fast drying on the move. Testing shows that the Supersonic™ Travel offers strong, consistent performance, making it an ideal second dryer for travel, gym bags, or quick touch-ups on the go.

Can the Dyson Supersonic™ Travel be put in check-in airplane luggage?

Yes, it's  safe to be put in either check-in or cabin (carry-on) baggage.

Is the Dyson Supersonic™ Travel compatible with Dyson Supersonic™ attachments?

Yes. It’s 100% compatible with existing Dyson Supersonic™ and Dyson Supersonic Nural™ attachments, so you can maintain your styling routine wherever you travel. Please note that Supersonic™ Travel is currently not compatible with Dyson Supersonic r™ attachments.

Don't let the size fool you, this little dryer packs a punch, it's compact and lightweight for travel but it means business! I'm always traveling for competitions and work, this hairdryer has made life so much easier. It fits perfectly in my suitcase and takes up little room, I even sometimes carry ...

Should come with a travel case

This is marketed as a Travel Hair Dryer but for some reason it doesnt come with a travel case or pouch. I think this takes away from the Dyson experience we are accustomed to

I have a regular Dyson dryer that I take with me everywhere. I always wished they'd have a travel version, and now they do! It's small and lightweight. I bought it specifically because it will work in Europe/UK. I plan to travel there next summer, so I can't report on that feature. It has only 2 fan speeds and 2 heat settings, but I found them to be really good (I normally use speed and heat 3). I was able to use my hair "straightener" curving tool from my original Dyson, so I don't need to buy a new tool. That's a plus. I just can't wait to travel to use it. If I didn't have an original Dyson, this travel one would be my primary dryer.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Small and light travel dryer

I currently own the original Dyson dryer am it because of the cost I always put it in my carry-on. The travel Dyson is a game changer. It's so small compact and light. I would highly recommend. I did read issues about The travel dryer, not having all the heat signs, this did not seem to be an issue for me.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Dont let its tiny size fool you- this bad boy is powerful!! It takes me maybe 5-7 mins to dry my long hair. Perfect for travel!!

Hair Type Wavy Hair

This is my new favorite travel must haves for any trips! The same performance as the regular sized Dyson and lighter weight and the tools from the regular Dyson can be used- added bonus! I am not sure I could go back to the terrible hotel hair dryers that tangle hair within a few minutes.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair

This blow dryer is great. I have short hair so I don't really need anything. Super powerful to dry my hair and this one has the perfect settings. It's lightweight which is great. It's also small enough for travel. I would recommend it.
