For my shoulder-length, medium, straight hair, it's just not worth the high price. While it's light and quiet up to the 2nd speed, there's just nothing special about it. Very drying, not for fine hair
This dryer is not for fine hair, was very drying and made my hair feel like straw. It also doesn't get hot enough to straighten wavy hair well. Disappointed. This dryer should come with a caution it's not for fine hair.

Excellent dryer!
I bought this online after reading many reviews. I have been told by many hairdressers that I have thick hair. It's shoulder length, very straight. I purchased it because it is lightweight and it dries hair quickly. I have arthritis and it is difficult for me to hold my blow dryers for any length of time. Believe me, this is light as a feather! I don't have to stop and rest my arm and it is pain free. It dries my hair quickly if I use light styling products. If I use a foam styler it takes a little bit longer, but not by much. For me it is worth the money for these two reasons alone. Also, it is very quiet, so I wouldn't worry using it late at night or if the grandkids are sleeping. Worth every penny for me.
LOVE this blowdryer
I have had this blowdryer for 2 years now. Prior had a dyson. Absolutely did not like the Dyson and so disappointed that I spent that much money on it. The Dyson caused so much damage to my hair and frizzed the heck out of my hair. I gave it to my daugher. The Olivia Garden blowdryer is so much better. No frizz and my hair is so smooth. Blowdrys fast and does not damage my hair at all. I have fine hair and this blowdryer has changed my hair so much that it now doesn't break off. Easy to clean and light weight.
Not worth the money
If you are going to spend that kind of money get a DYSON. So much better. Poor quality for the amount they charge for it
