I haven't been this excited about eyeliner in...well...I've never been excited about eyeliner until now!
For starters, I have SUPER sensitive eyes and hooded eyelids. Then, no matter what I do, my lids get very oily. Eyeliner and I have never really been friends. On top of that, I absouletly can't stand taking time to get a look down, then looking in the mirror 3 hours later and all my hard work is gone. IT Cosmetics Superhero No-Tug Gel Eyeliner made me fall in love with eyeliner again! I'm legit obsessed!
For starters, I love that you don't have to bother with messy sharpeners. This is on point all the time.
The color/s are STUNNING! They are highly pigmented and you can control how bold or soft you want your look.
This glides over the skin so easy too! I have not once pulled or forced the pencil! (This is quite important because I'm doing EVERYTHING I can to minimize wrinkling!) And because the color is so pigmented, I don't need multiple passes! I love the beautiful shimmer and metallic glisten. It catches the light so well and creates a stunning yet daily look. It also feels great on the skin. It's not sticky and doesn't make the lids feel stiff.
Once applied, you have a solid 2 minutes for the formula to dry. It blends and smudges better than any other liner or gel I have ever used! It's pretty amazing that the color doesn't pull at all and you get a nice, even shadow.
Once the formula has dried though, it's ON! This will NOT sweat/slide off during the day. It will NOT come off with face wash. It doesn't even slide off my slick lids! I use a good makeup remover to get this product off- no tugging though! I wear waterproof mascara daily, so it all comes off together. This liner has the absolute BEST staying power out of any I have ever used! If you have hooded lids, you need this liner! The staying power makes this amazing if you line your waterline too. I promise, it's not leaving your face until you want it too!
In top of all that excellence, my sensitive eyes never got itchy, red, blurry or watery.
Honestly, I'm so completely IN LOVE with this liner! If you hate disappearing or traveling liner, please try this product! I would reccomend 100x over!
I was a faithful user of It's No Tug waterproof eyeliner until they changed the pencil design. It seems like it will lengthen when you twist the barrel (as it used to) but now it only clicks. It had been a fantastic product that was smudge proof and a generous amount of product but now it is a terrible value. I have been buying all kinds of other brands to find a new favorite. I love It products but sooo very disappointed with the changes they made here. I spent a lot of time trying to find a customer service number for It but was unable to do so. Please go back to the pencil that twisted and was usable for many months. It looks like your customers don't like this change.

I hate the changes to this product. As many others have mentioned, it is impossible to sharpen this pencil. Plus, it is still called No Tug, but it's nowhere near as smooth of an application as it used to be, and it doesn't seem to last as long as the mechanical version. All around fail.

Could not sharpen, will not buy again

First pen tip broke applying 2nd time - replaced pen and tip broke on first application. Loved the wear time on day I wore it but not sure why so brittle and will not push up more make up to use

Well after reordering I find I was correct they changed the best product they had!! Booby brown now

This item was convenient, efficient, and comfortable to use when it was mechanical. For reasons unbeknownst to me, they attempted to "fix" something that was not broken! Ah, but now it is just that. There is not only a reduction in product from the repackaging, but it breaks off soooo easily and just does not apply like the original eyeliner they discontinued for this travesty. Please bring back the mechanical formula as I am not interested in using this as my staple product!!

The product is great. I have used it for many years. The new way of packaging is terrible. I suspect that the company chose the new packaging with far less product rather than increasing the price on an otherwise flawless product. As much as I love it, I will look for another brand that is longer lasting.

I tried several ways to sharpen this eyeliner but couldn't get it as good as when it was new….it smudged as i applied after sharpening.
Would not recommend this especially for the cost.

It does not stay on bottom inner eye lid nor does it actually go on easily
PJ from Batone Rouge, LA
The original eyeliner was the only one that stayed on my lids. This new formula is an absolute joke. You can't sharpen it and it smudges off almost immediately. I returned it for Stilla Smudge Stick.

I used this to add a fine line under the lower lashes and along the top lash. Too thick and high priced!

Was a huge fan of the waterproof liner. Been using it for years. Bought this and it is awful. Goes on nice but does not stay long.

this is one of the best eye liners I have found. So in the description it says "sharpenable". I went to Ulta tonight and asked the heck are you supposed to sharpened this. I had one of the ladies show me a good sharpener. lord behold it actually started to sharpen..it took a bit to get it started. But it is just like the old eye pencils. it still glides on smoothly. now that I got it fixed.... I love it even more!

I'm surprised no one has said anything about the consistency of the product. Goes on smooth but in a couple hours dries and crumbles start to get all over your under eye area. Also cannot sharpen to a point .
Steph from Philadelphia
I really wanted to like this, and my hopes were high because it worked very well when it was new and had a point. But once it becomes dull, it is very difficult to sharpen and impossible to get a sharp point back, which renders it basically useless. If they can fix this design flaw I would definitely repurchase, because the product itself is beautiful and does not transfer. Until then, I'm sorry to say this is a no for me and I would not recommend to others.

Don't waste your money, I got this on sale and it was still a waste. I recevied this a couple weeks ago and only have used it a handful of times and it's already out. I thought I would get a lot more use out of this, I've already used the whole thing because I thought it would be a twist bottom where you push more of the product up to use......NOPE

Trying to find an eyeliner that is both easy to apply and won't make my eyes water is a challenge. This eyeliner glided smoothly onto my eye and actually stayed on - but once I tried swiping it onto my other eye it broke off and there was no way to sharpen it. I was sad because I had actually liked this but it's a waste because you can literally only use it a few times. Ridiculous and sad :(

Cannot believe I've wasted so much money on these since the redesign. You cannot sharoen these to the fine point & lose so much product attempting it. WAS the perfect self-sharpening waterproof eyeliner, now it is the worst. Bye bye No Tug.
Lskoch from Florida
Was my Fo to waterproof liner for years, now I give up & am switching. Once they changed from self-sharpening, I waste so much product trying to get a point, & it's never sharp enough.

Awful smudged all over
LAK from Sunrise, Fl
Waste of money if you can't lengthen pencil only after a few uses.
Kiki from NY
I love this eyeliner's formula — it glides on easily, gives a precise line, and stays in place without transferring even without lid primer. However, the design of this liner is horrible! I have tried multiple quality sharpeners and can never get the liner to resharpen to a point, making it almost impossible to keep using it (if you want a precise line). Unless you want to blow your money on a liner that you can use for a week and then not use again, don't bother
Kris from Indiana
Even though its not waterproof, it sure stayed on and no smudge in the pool
I just wish it came in a finer tip, but I work with it.
SM from SC
Does not run or smudge, and does not irritate my eyes. Yay.
Xfan from Mi
Super disappointed that this eyeliner is not self sharpening. It is smaller than the old design which was a way easier pencil to use. Now that I have to sharpen it myself I'll be returning it sadly because it does stay on good. I hope to find another brand that self sharpens. Whoever thought this was an improvement from the old design is so so wrong. Change it back and I'll keep buying it cause I really loved it before. This was definitely a step in the wrong direction.
Jacquie from Arkansas
This was the best eyeliner for staying on and not smudging. I've used it for many year. Unfortunately, they changed the design. It looks the same as the old BUT it is a plastic pencil that MUST be sharpen (no twist at bottom) and it's difficult to sharpen. Ive waited most of them pencil trying to shaped it, even after cleaning the sharpener. Such a pain and disappointed! Please go back to the previous design. I'm looking for a different one in the meantime.
