 Strawberry Rose Lip Balm

I love this balm! It leaves a beautiful bright pink behind on the lips, has a nice sweet smell, and the package it comes in is adorable! Don't be put off by the three colors- they blend together beautifully and leave your lips feeling so soft!

This lip balm had a nice light floral scent, though I didn't pick up on the strawberry scent at all. As for the application, it was very satiny, as smooth as warm butter! The packaging is lightweight and compact, a cute cylinder that can fit in your pockets. However, I did not like the shade. I didn't feel like it complimented my skin tone, which is a warm deep tone. If it came in a darker tint, I feel like it would be a great addition to my everyday look. It's a very nice product quality wise, but as for the shade, I personally feel like it suits a very specific complexion. I tried using lip liner and topping it off with a lip gloss, yet that did very little to sell me on this product. So, I give it 2 stars. I would recommend this product, but only for a specific shade.

I am super grateful to have been given the opportunity to try Winky Lux's new Strawberry Rose lip balm. As a professional in the beauty industry I am always excited to try the newest and greatest products for makeup and skincare. This tri-colored tinted balm comes in the most beautiful eye catching packaging in a rose gold user friendly application tube. It has several beneficial ingredients such as vitamin E to help improve hydration and jojoba oil to enhance moisture retention. The balm applies smooth with no lumps, bumps, or chunks I absolutely love the way it feels on my lips. I think this product is overall fantastic! I would very much like to try this product in a different shade as this particular pink is too cool for my complexion. I did, however, find it to be a perfect color for a cream blush application. It left the perfect rosey hue with a little bit of shine I received several compliments when wearing the product this way.

What a nice surprise being chosen to test out the Strawberry Rose Tinted lip balm from Winky Lux. First I must comment on the unique layering of colors, which blend to a very nice pink tone that is delightful (see pictures below). But the most amazing experience is the luxurious hydration! I often get dry and chapped lips with periodic peeling. I may have some reaction to regular lip products as this has occurred all of my life. Given my history with dry lips and peeling, I have tried many other tinted lip balms. Much to my surprise this one has an uncanny way to deposit a lot more color on the lips, stay there for hours and still maintain the hydration for the entire time. I'm happy to keep this one in my purse!I'm delighted with the product. Highly recommend.

Now, here's where my experience took a turn. While I liked the lip balm, I didn't love it as much as I hoped. It's nice, but for me, it didn't feel like a must-have in my lip care routine. However, on a whim, I decided to try dabbing it on my cheeks as a blushâ€"and that's when I truly fell for this product. As a blush, this balm blends seamlessly into the skin, giving the most natural, dewy pink flush. It melts into the complexion in a way that looks effortless and radiant, making it perfect for those “no-makeup” makeup days. I found myself reaching for it more as a cream blush than as a lip product, which was unexpected but a happy surprise. While the color is gorgeous, I did notice that it fades relatively quickly, especially on the lips. I had to reapply multiple times throughout the day, which isn't a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you prefer long-wearing products.
