Lemonade Lips!

WInky Lux products are always beautifully packaged, their lip balms are top of the range and their newest Pink Lemonade Tri-Colored Lip Balm is no exception! The gold casing and beautifully PINK (and yellow) striped product screams luxury skincare with a twist - literally, haha - to me. How could yo...u not love this beautiful thing? And that stick of product? It's a LOT of product! You don't feel like wow, there's hardly anything in this tube, it's a long stick of lip balm. Or in other words, it's a long, tall drink of water for your dry, sad winter lips.  The pop of pink color helps, because the kind of lipsticks that I like to wear (liquid lipstick that dries to matte finish) are very drying on my lips. Also, with it being the winter season, (yes, even in South Florida!) I tend to have about 800 lip balms lying around the house, my purse, in the car, in drawers, and pockets. However, when I have a tinted lip balm, I tend to wear it more because I want that pop of color. Don't be deceived by its bright exterior, you're not going to be walking around with bright fuchsia lips, it CAN be actually quite sheer/light pink, IF applied correctly.  The color is definitely "pink lemonade" and I think it looked nice on me IF I applied a very light swipe and then blended it with my fingers. However, anything other than a very light application created an 80's-sort-of-pink color that I ultimately felt was a bit too juvenile looking on me.  I love how moisturizing it is. Made with Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil, the balm keeps my lips moist, supple and smooth with a very different feel to it than other lip balms -- more of a supple wax that smooths with staying power than the typical slick Vaseline texture. Winky Lux's packaging is always gorgeous and feminine! I love Pink Lemonade's gold bullet-shaped case.  It's cuter than cute and fits right in the palm of my hand.  Even though I felt that Winky Lux's Pink Lemonade Tri-Colored Lip Balm wasn't my most flattering shade, I would definitely still be willing to try ANY of their other lip balms, stains and creme lipsticks! If you haven't tried Winky Lux - it's a beauty experience like no other!
