Summary
Lanolips took their iconic Original 101 Ointment and infused it with Vitamin E & natural strawberry fruit extract in the Lips 101 Ointment Strawberry Multi-Balm. They call it *A little tube of magic* For extremely dry & chapped lips, skin patches, cuticles & elbows.
Benefits
- The added strawberry extract contains alpha-hydroxy acids, which helps slough off dead cells so that new, healthy skin is revealed.
- This super rich, 100% natural lip balm penetrates & seals in moisture to give extreme hydration for extremely dry and chapped lips.
- As its name suggests, it has many uses beyond just lips.
- 101 Uses include: Apply to dry cuticles/cracked heels/dry nasal passages. Melt it into your own moisturizer to supercharge. Mix a tiny bit with your foundation for a natural, dewy look. Keep eyebrows in place. Apply to windburn/cold-chapped cheeks. Heal dry/brittle nails, paper cuts, insect bites.
- Alleviate dryness associated with psoriasis and eczema.

Wonderful multipurpose balm
I bought this after reading a beauty blog about its many uses. Also I thought it would be pretty effective since lanolin is remarkably close to our own natural skin oils. I like how the tube is small enough for my purse and is multifunctional for a variety of skin problems. Recently I became obsesse...

Wouldn't buy again
It smells good and feels nice when the temperature is just right. Why do I mention temperature? Because it's very sensitive to it. if you leave it in your pocket or car and it warms up, the contents get runny, the packaging will blurt out way too much and it feels slimy. The hole in the applicat...

Truly a treatment balm
How many lip balms have we all purchased and then tossed before they're fully used up? This one will hook you - but only if you use it correctly. Initially, I wasn't a fan, since I was trying to use it like a regular balm throughout my day like you would a Chapstick or lip gloss. Not how you want to use this one. I ONLY use it during my morning prep and before I go to bed (basically, I always apply it after I brush my teeth). In the mornings, I've found that if you don't wipe it completely off, it will end up building up into a line of film where your lips meet, so approach this as a prep product instead of a regular balm, and give it time to set in as you get ready for the day. Using it twice a day keeps my lips sufficiently hydrated and also protects my lips on the evenings when I use tret. Treating it as a skincare step instead of as a regular balm basically resolves the issues I see people complain about with this product like the buildup, the amount that dispenses, and its likelihood to get a little melted if you leave it in a hot car. Keep it next to your toothbrush and use it twice a day!
The best lipgloss ever
Let's be honest as a woman we've tried them all but this one is sooo yummy and I mean not sticky gives my lips moisture and whatever their lacking and it smells delicious
Love This Product
Smells so good! Leaves my lips hudrated for hours!
Thick balm in a squeeze tube
Extremely hydrating. I love the applicator and squeeze tube. The balm is thick, so it can be difficult to squeeze the appropriate amount out of the tube — especially if it's been in a cold environment. It makes a huge, sticky mess if I don't warm it up first, because the balm seems to get "blocked" in the tube and comes out in globs when it finally warms up enough to flow. In cases like this, the color is a definite "con" since it adds to the mess. I kept mine in my car, so I'm not sure if that's related to this issue or not, but: I've now had 2 tubes that have separated at the seam between the applicator and the top of the tube. So when I squeeze the tube, the product doesn't come out of the applicator as expected; instead, it comes out at the seam NEXT TO the applicator. That was an unpleasant surprise!
Wonderbalm
The texture and packaging remind me of Carmex. It keeps the moisture on your lips. The strawberry smell is sweet but not overwhelming. I use it as a kind of finger fidget object, which makes the product warm. Then it applies even better. I can see this product being used as an ointment too. And I'm amazed that lanolin comes from sheep wool. It makes me feel proud to use this product. Overall, it's a great product that I highly recommend!
