Product is great, while it's working. I was gifted one 1.5 years ago. It's been cutting out at initial start for the past several weeks, growing in occurrence. It's so concerning I've stopped using it. Called customer service and was told I needed to have the voltage checked in my house and outlet. I've used another hair dryer in that same outlet with NO trouble. From the moment I called Customer Service for support and potential coverage under their 3 year limited warranty, the representative was looking for an excuse not to cover the issue. She implied it wasn't purchase direct or from an authorized seller. I proved it was. She claimed I was pulling on the cord, which I wasn't. She claimed the issue didn't occur on our video chat, which it did. Although, she repeatedly said it took several times of turning the dryer off and on to happen. Should that matter? It wasn't working reliably every time. That's a problem. I even showed her the light on the plug flickering and buzzing (which had never happened before). When she told me to have the voltage checked, I lost it. Ridiculous! This will be the last Shark hair dryer we ever buy. Great product, when it works. Poor customer support.

Have only had this hair dryer for about 6 months and it's already dying. I have cleaned the filter weekly, yet now every time I use it half way through a blowout it just turns off, it's already half as powerful as it was when I got it and it's insanely loud.

I was looking for a dryer that is less damaging to the hair and found this dryer. It is light weight but very powerful. It dries quickly on a low setting. I would give it five stars but the attachments are a little bulky and awkward to use.

Even on the lowest heat setting it still burns my scalp. I have short curly hair. I bought this because I liked how the diffuser looked. But it gets way too hot on hair. Not really a fan.

I had watched many Youtube videos on the Shark Speed Style tempting me with smooth, unfrizzy hair. I remained skeptical of whether it would "transform" my light brown medium wavy hair. Dear reader, it did! My longish hair can get quite frizzy in humid or misty conditions. The Speed Style hairdryer is in another league to my ordinary one. This one will reduce the puffiness and make it sleek without a flat iron. I love the high gloss finisher best. It felt like an indulgence purchase, but I can't see myself without it now.
