- Benzoyl peroxide (BPO) - Proactiv prescription-grade, micronized BPO gets deep into your pores to kill acne-causing bacteria at its source.

Apply twice daily, morning and night. Treat your whole face. Apply a small (dime-sized) amount to dampened skin and gently massage with fingertips for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pat dry. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen.

My friend gave me a the entire steps but the cleanser is expired but never opened. Is it safe to still use? She also gave me the Dark Spot Corrector and its expired and never opened as well and Ulta doesn't sell these items.

I have dry skin. Will this product only dry me out more? Is this product recommended for dry skin? Like other woman, I'd hate to buy a product that only caused further problems.
