Packaging - The component is really beautiful, and I understand it was made to be easy to open. The doe foot applicator is rather large and I found you get a lot of product on the wand when taking it out of the tube. I ended up scraping off a lot of product to make sure I didn't apply too much (some...thing to be aware of - not an issue overall). Formula - If you haven't seen other reviews, this blush is PIGMENTED. A little goes a very long way, so you just need the tiniest amount. I prefer to apply the blush to the back of my hand and then use a stippled brush to apply the color to my cheeks. This allowed me to control how much product I was applying. You can apply this to the face and blend out with a brush or your fingers, but you need to work quickly because this does dry down pretty quickly. There are two blush formulas - matte and satin finish. I have the color Joy and it has a satin finish. I thought this was beautiful on the skin. I am pretty pale, so I was a little worried this would be too dark on me, but it blended out beautifully. I think these blushes would work for a lot of skin tones as you can build the color up easily if you have a deeper skin tone. This blush was long-lasting; I didn't notice it fading at all throughout the day. I am very interested in the other blush colors, but because you get so much product, I don't know if I could justify buying another one! I think the price is very fair for this product since it'll last you for forever! If you are interested in trying this formula out, I did see Rare Beauty came out with a few holiday kits with some mini blushes. I would suggest trying one of those out if you're interested in a few shades since the smaller size of this will still last you a LONG time.
