I just purchased this item 3 days ago and just now finally got around to using it after shaving and OUCHHHH it burns so badly. It says on the directions to use it directly after shaving/cleansing the area which I did …OUCH! I can feel the burn. Maybe I should only use it when I have some stubble/len...

I have type 4 hair so iykyk. I shaved with a foil shaver and applied this the next night and every night following and no ingrown hairs or any sign of irritation. This is one of the few products that have been efective.
